Summary: I have traveled to many places in my life that have left me with many experiences. Some good and some not so good. This property was a great surprise as one of the most comfortable, quiet and serine locations. The beauty of the surrounding mountains and desert are picturesque. I can best sum it up by saying that I will come back again and again and again. Thankyou D Orsay 👍

Summary: Well-kept and nicely furnished studio. Great nature views, including view of Catalina mountains from the porch. Property is over 4 acres so neighbors (other than Tony) are at a distance - nicely relaxing. Good for biking: The major streets in the area have bike paths along them; you can access the nearest one by crossing the street at the end of the driveway. This will link to many miles of bike paths including the Canada del Oro spur of The Loop (about 4 miles away). Some approximate driving distances: * Catalina State Park: 15 min * Dove Mtn trails: 15 min * Nearest trailhead for The Loop: 8 min * Sabino Canyon: 30 min * Desert Museum: 40+ min * Camino del Cerro trailhead: 30 min * Downtown: probably 25 min * Reid Park Zoo: 30 min * Airport: 40 min * Madera Canyon: 1hr 15min Some things to know: * Tony's house and the studio are attached at the corner, so you won't be all by yourself in complete privacy. For me, chatting with Tony was one of the pluses of staying there. * Traffic noise in the early morning and evening rush hour. (I learned to ignore it.) You can't see it; just hear it. * DSL internet worked for my browsing, MS Teams voice and screen-sharing meetings, but would get occasional minute disconnects. Wouldn't work so well for streaming video (which I didn't need).

Summary: I am a traveling nurse and rented Tony's studio for a 3 month assignment at Oro Valley Hospital. This was absolutely perfect for me! It's a very peaceful location (both inside and outside), great for relaxing on my days off. Definitely no hustle and bustle out here. It's was about a 5 minute drive to the hospital. Tony was very helpful if I ever needed anything and a clear communicator. I would 100% stay here again!

Summary: The casita is a roomy open-concept space. Nicely furnished and decorated with Tony's own paintings - you get to live in an art gallery. Outside you see nature and the mountains - only see neighbors in a couple directions, and you won't see them from the patio (where I enjoyed spending a lot of my time) - so it feels out and away even though it's only a few minutes from stores and parks. Tony is a wonderful host - super helpful and very friendly - we had many great conversations. Only two downsides: 1. Although you cannot see the busy street, you can hear it. I got used to it, but if that will bother you then take that into consideration. 2. Internet access is 3Mbps. That was enough for me to work remotely including online meetings (audio and screen sharing) but if you have high bandwidth needs, then it may not do.

Summary: God's artistic hand in the views outside, and Tony's artistic hand in the creations inside. Decorated with his own art work, this large casita was a joy for us for our 50th anniversary get away. Very comfortable, and well equipped for a extended weekend. The views were beautiful. Close to things to see and do but yet out in the county to enjoy peace and the natural views.
