Positive: Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area was lovely and nice touch. Location was only a short walk into Lucca.
Negative: Sometimes getting drink or food ordered when around the pool required a little wait due to the number of staff on site.
Summary: A lovely stay overall, very friendly staff. Hotel was clean with a lovely pool area to relax.

Positive: The pool was excellent and the staff were really friendly and attentive. The room was lovely and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a standard hotel buffet but that's perfect for what we wanted, to be able to know what you are having to breakfast and go down to get it when you are ready.
Negative: The only warning to others is the location. The hotel is great but you need to be prepared to get in and out of the actual town a lot. We used the RideMovi bikes which are great and cheap but not for everyone.
Summary: A really lovely place to stay near Lucca for a relaxing time.

Positive: The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The property is as pretty as it looks on the website and the pool is lovely with lots of seats and shade if you want. The locations is good as it's only a short walk to the walled city of Lucca. Breakfast is served in a lovely sunny conservatory and there is enough choice.
Negative: The camp bed has a thin mattress as other reviews said and is quite creaky but it was fine for one adult. The shower is tiny but the water pressure is really good which is more important.

Positive: Georgia (the host) was incredible. The rooms and pool area were very clean. The breakfast was very good.
Negative: There were no nearby restaurants and you can’t eat or drink at the hotel after 19:00. Also the contact details on booking.com are incorrect and I spoke to a very rude (probably very frustrated) man when I tried to call to inform them of a late arrival after a flat tyre! I also got no reply to the messages I left on Booking.com. That said, when we got Georgia’s details, she was a fantastic help.
Summary: It was a good stay, in clean accommodation with great service.
