Positive: We loved the village location. The room was comfortable and the breakfast excellent.

Negative: We hadn't realised that the pub closes early on Sundays. We were directed to another pub, The Plough, and had a great meal there, and enjoyed a drink at another next dorr, so it all worked out well.

Positive: Room was clean and comfortable, shower a little tight for space but more than adequate. Dinner was great - I had the steak which was one of the best I have had for some time! Breakfast - we asked for sausage sandwiches to go on Sunday morning as we needed to get to the show. All prepared and ready for us to get away on time.

Negative: Can't find anything to dislike really - entrance to the car park is very narrow but just need to take a little care going in/out. Other than that we would definitely visit again, either with work, or if in the area for leisure.

Summary: Excellent. Staff friendly and accommodating - highly recommend.
