Summary: Our stay at The Castle House Inn, Stockholm, was a great place to stay. The staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating. Thelocation was walking distance to many tourist attractions, food, and shopping. And the history of Gamla Stan is incredible! If we make it back to Stockholm, we will definitely say there again.

Summary: The inn is quite good value for money. It is cheap, and quite clean, and extremely well located yet in a quiet street. Our rooms were big enough, and the beds comfy. You share shower and toilets, but they are quite abundant and private, so it's not a really big problem. Some of the shower/wc rooms have a bit of an odour that i believe could be fixed with a splash of beach in the drains now and then. A minor gripe is that there are no paper towels in these shower/wc rooms.

Summary: Perhaps one of the cleanest hotels I have been in. Beds were comfortable, linens were lovely. Beautiful building inside and out. The shared bathrooms were somewhat smelly, but perhaps that is to be expected.

Summary: I liked how all the beds were twins so you could separate them for kids or keep them together for a larger bed for adults, I did NOT like the bathroom at all though. The toilet was basically in the shower and after your shower you had to squeegee the water down the drain. It was definitely odd! It was very loud outside our room especially early in the morning, we were woken up around 05:00-06:00 by loud trucks every day of our stay

Summary: My husband has some balance issues. He does NOT need handicapped accessible, but the ups and downs of the floors, both in the hallway and in the room, were nerve-wracking for us. I was worried one or the other of us would trip.

Summary: This is a lovely hotel in a great location. It needs just a few changes to be great overall. They do not have hand towels or wash cloths. It would have been nice to have these. The WiFi was very weak. The window covering is very thin and see through. With the lights outside and the sun coming up at 4:00 am the room was never dark enough for sleeping. A blackout shade would be easy to add. The bathroom could use some shelves. And there needs to be a lip at the base of the shower. With no lip the water from the shower goes all over the bathroom. A squeegee is provided but it would be nice to have the water contained.
