Summary: Fantastic location - just across small street from boardwalk along the beach - fantastic location to access the beach and see the sunset. Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms. Breakfast was good, and there were other amenities like a hot tub and fire pit available. Nearby restaurant with good food. Very pleasant ambiance and quick drive to Hearst Castle. The Castle Inn was a great place to visit!

Summary: We had a wonderful night stay. The front desk clerk (Jack, I think) was super nice and helpful. The room was clean and the shower was nice. We took advantage of the fire pit in the evening. We had a dinner down the street. We just walked over ate and walked back to the hotel. Everything was great. Oh! And we had a beautiful view from our window!

Summary: Breakfast menu was sparse. Walls are paper thin so I heard in stereo from three different rooms, above and to both sides, dads yelling at their kids, feet stomping, and marital arguments. While the property is in a good location, the price per night was not commensurate with the overall experience. Avoid.

Summary: Always our favorite place to stay in Cambria. Best location, clean and comfortable newly decorated rooms. Great value a walking distance to our favorite restaurant.

Summary: What's not to like? It was clean, ideal location to just take a hike along the ocean, heated pool and jacuzzi, outdoor firepit, and chairs to enjoy the view. Restaurants with great food within walking distance. We came the last week in April 2026 and it was so relaxing and quiet.

Summary: Great location and friendly staff. Room had everything we needed and hotel also has a lovely pool and hot tub plus fire pit and outdoor seating for enjoying the lovely views and sunset. Only downside was the thin walls which meant loud guests woke us up.

Summary: Great location! I had the king ocean view room and it had a big window facing the ocean. Beautiful view! The hotel is just steps across the street to the ocean and boardwalk. The room was clean. Furniture is fairly basic looking but appears pretty recently remodeled as the furniture looked brand new and walks freshly painted. It came with a mini fridge and microwave. The bed was good. Most hotel beds are very hard and give me pain but this one didn’t. Breakfast was basic. I appreciated the hard boiled eggs. Being lactose intolerant there are usually few things I can eat at hotel breakfasts. There is bread and peanut butter for toast as well. The jacuzzi in the pool area was lovely! The staff were nice and helpful. It’s a very short drive to the town to shops and restaurants. Can’t wait to visit again!

Summary: Location was killer (just across the street from the ocean), the room was huge and nicely updated, and the hot tub was a great bonus. The only reason I might skip staying here again is because the walls were very thin and noise travelled. I could clearly hear the neighbors talking, they weren’t even shouting or being rude, just talking to each other. So if you’re a light sleeper (and not a night owl), bring your white noise machine. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay immensely.
