Positive: Beautifully appointed well equipped spacious house. Garden is lovely beneath the backdrop of the magnificent Bamburgh Castle. Just a short walk over the sand dunes to the amazing beach. Lovely hamper of goodies on arrival.
Negative: Bamburgh is a small village that caters to day trippers visiting the castle so it is extremely busy during the day but is much less busy in the evening. Prices in the village reflect this and there are no supermarkets and no takeaway/deliveries so be prepared to eat out or go to Seahouses for supplies although this is just a short drive along the coast.
Summary: Gorgeous house, magnificent castle, spectacular beach one of my favourite places.

Positive: The location was spectacular The house was spacious and easily able to accommodate all of us as well as being clean and comfortable Staff came and cleaned the BBQ promptly when requested as it had been left dirty from previous visitors
Negative: It was quite public as on main road and tourists walking by all the time No instructions for heating, ovens, bin collections Key codes were wrong, and the back keys didn’t work - could only use front door which was temperamental Internet was patchy and boosters didn’t seem to work (no code given for Onetouch) Big plates too big for the dishwasher, and not enough for the amount of people in our group Not enough big pots and pans, and frying pans were not very good Not enough drawers in bedrooms Not enough tea-towels for a 1 week stay
Summary: We had a lovely week at the property and the above points being remedied would just have enhanced it

Positive: Location is amazing. Plenty of comfy beds to fit 18 people. Enough parking for 5 cars. Plenty of good pubs, cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Positive: The location was perfect. The property was modern, beautiful and comfortable with everything you need and more. A little play room with jigsaws, family games, football table was an added bonus. The layout of the house is perfect for adults and children to do their own thing but be together.
Negative: The TVs in the bedrooms didn’t work as the internet wasn’t great and the bed in the downstairs bedroom was broken.
Summary: Perfect family break in a perfect house.

Positive: The accommodation was exceptional and ideal for my 60th birthday celebrations with family. Lots of communal space for us all as well as everyone having their own rooms all with en-suites. It was ideal having downstairs bedrooms which was so convenient for my parents who are 82 and 86. We parked the cars on the Friday and didn't move them again until Sunday as everything was within walking distance (apart from 1 vehicle used for those playing golf on the Saturday). Would definitely book this property again.
Negative: The only thing there wasn't enough dinner plates for our party - only 13. I know there was a number to contact the host but it wasn't a big enough problem as we managed with other items ... maybe should think about putting some more in the property.
Summary: Absolutely fantastic and would definitely book again !
