Positive: Check-in - staff friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was good.
Negative: Room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. It wasn’t that warm outside so the room had been closed up for a while. Windows didn’t open enough to let it fresh air so all the fan did was blow hot air. I woke up several times though out the night wet with sweat. The walls were very thin and the drunks beside us were noisy until 2:00 am. There was a wedding party at the hotel that all checked in at the same time. The biggest issue was value for money. For the price of the hotel, the stay should have been better.
Summary: Value - The price didn’t equal the value.

Positive: Were upgraded to a very large room when we asked for a bathtub. Very comfortable bed. Quiet area not far from restaurants and shops. Great spa in hotel. Excellent breakfast.
Negative: Some staff, particularly in bar, seemed grumpy and often ignored us for some time while we waited to order drinks. Huge hotel with many wings so took a long time to get to room from reception.

Positive: The bedroom was so comfortable and absolutely spotless. The staff were very professional and polite. Breakfast was delicious and a fantastic variety. I cannot wait to stay there again. Well done Castlecourt!!
Negative: The bedroom we found very warm but that is down to personal preference. Carpark very busy and narrow but managed to find a space after a period of time.
