Positive: Perfectly located within a short easy walk to both the beach and Croagh Patrick this clean, quiet two bedroom apartment overlooks Croagh Patrick and has dedicated parking and a well equipped kitchen and snug meals area for eating. However if you donโ€™t feel like eating at home you have the choice of two pubs also within walking distance. The apartment comes with a washing machine and a clothes line outside so your laundry can dry in the clean sea air. Good wifi and streaming apps.
Negative: The accomodation is only signed on the northern approach.

Positive: Itโ€™s rare to find a place that just does everything so right, but this is one of them. Very thoughtful touches that make the stay perfect, from a well-equipped kitchen with spices/oil to a washing machine WITH detergent and jam/marmalade/butter already onsite. Going for a walk? Thereโ€™s sticks! Coffee? Yes, already there and two ways to brew it (press or machine). Throw blankets for cozy nights, heating pads on the bed for colder ones and a picnic table for al fresco dining on warmer ones. Throw in a fabulous view of Croagh Patrick out the front and wildflowers out the back, plus walking distance to two pubsโ€ฆseriously, itโ€™s such a great place! The two bedrooms are separate enough that they feel very private from one another. The living room is small, but roomy enough for two couples to dine and relax. But on top of that, the host is kind and lovely - she even provided a special treat after our climb of the mountain. Definitely a great stay. Worth every penny.

Positive: The basic welcome pack was much appreciated. We had access to two bedrooms with ensuites, if required. Accommodation was fully equipped and instructions well defined. Mary booked us into the local Tavern. It was an easy walk and served excellent meals. Sat Nav in car took us to the property.
Negative: Nothing not to like. Only wish we could have stayed another night or two to properly explore the local County of Mayo and Westport.
Summary: We had an excellent overnight stay, great host and accommodation.

Positive: Accessing this property was extremely straightforward using the lock box. The host had made contact with me prior to our stay to give directions to the property and instructions to access the key. Communication with the host was excellent and any questions I had were answered promptly. The apartment is everything we had hoped for and more. All of the small touches, down to the slices of bread wrapped in kitchen paper in a lunchbox, the butter jam, marmalade, milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and cereal really made all the difference. The apartment has everything you could want; amazing views, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, TVs, and even electric blankets!! Perfect location in that it is directly across from the car park for Croagh Patrick and a short car journey to the town. We will definitely be back.

Positive: Mary, the owner, could not have been more attentive and responsive. In addition to allowing me to check-in early, she drove me into the Westport town the morning I left. The property is exceptionally neat, clean and well-managed. The flat is decorated with taste and the kitchen is well appointed. Cereals, bread, butter, jam, tea and coffee are provided. I greatly appreciated the emphasis on warmth. There were multiple heaters in addition to lots of throws and cushions. I especially loved the great view of Croagh Patrick. I would be delighted to stay here again. Thank you Mary.
