5 Bedroom House in North Side, Rumpoint

This remodeled, typical Caymanian style house is very spacious, offers 4 bedrooms with adjoining full bathrooms, 1 loft with 2 twins, 2 kitchens, 2 dining areas, 1 living area, 1 chill area with two hammocks, and 1300 sqft. of screened in patios. ACs in all rooms are brand new. If desired, a bar is possible to rent for an extra fee. That gives you entertainment space with a pool table, pin ball machine, TV and sound system, 2 sofas (one pull out queen), and full bathroom.
The house is nestled on half an acre of tropical paradise, on Rum Point Drive. The Ocean is only 200 feet away. A tropical breeze and the sound of the ocean will put you on island time. A private pool under palm trees is ready to splash in. Go hit some balls on our new Pickle Ball Court.
Upstairs you will enter the Great Room (common TV and lounge area), which is open to a fully equipped main kitchen. The Sunrise Room and Sunset Room have each queen size beds, plenty of storage, closet space and own full bathrooms. A travel baby crib is available. The screened terrace with ceiling fans, off the Great Room, is perfect for your morning coffee or evening desserts.
Over a ship ladder you reach the loft (Pirates Cave), with two twin beds and a small desk area. Here you have a view to the south jungle. A laundry area is right underneath.
The kitchen island provides seating for 8 people, for eating, playing games or just hanging out.
Downstairs are the Ocean View room and Garden Side room, with each queen size beds, storage space and closets. You have your own bathrooms with plenty of storage space, showers and toilets.
Here you also find 1050 sqft. screened in patio space, which holds a dining area for 6+4 people, a pool kitchen with basic equipment, a new BBQ grill, the chill area with two hammocks, another lounge area for 3 people, and a pool restroom. All over ceiling fans provide an additional breeze. Up to 10 adults, 2 children, can hang out here comfortably.
In front of the Ocean View room you can sit and watch the parrots, chickens and geccos. From the pool area you can catch the sunrise over the ocean.
The pool area holds 4 high chairs and tables, and 2 chase lounges. Floaters and toys are in the storage room, across the Garden View room. Beach towels are upstairs at the entry cabinet.
Next to the pool you find our Watersport Base. Here you can clean off your equipment in a dive rinse sink, storage wet towels, and bathing suits. On the outside you also find a shower spot.
In the back of the main house is our private bar. It is possible to rent for additional $1000 per week. Please contact owner.
Seaside is a great family retreat, a vacation paradise for those seeking seclusion, peace and tranquility. It is located only 5 minutes from Rum Point's family beach, with restaurants, showers, restrooms, sun chairs, gift shops, and a beach bar. There you can stroll the beach in both directions.
Other points of interest are close by, Star Fish Point, Botanical Garden, Crystal Caves, Kaibo Marina, the Blow Holes and others.
Chisholm's grocery store and several restaurants are near by. After all it's an island, everybody knows each other. By car you have all you need on Northside.

Summary: Loved the pool, the hammocks, the 3 screened porches, the pickleballl court, the pool table, the pinball machine, the well stocked kitchens, the comfortable beds and the beautiful gardens. Our vacation week couldn’t have been better. This property is thoughtfully designed and furnished. The owners and caretakers are very responsive and helpful. Fantastic fun and great memories. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Summary: This property was pretty special and set up very well for our family. The upper level has two bedrooms with queen beds and a loft for two kids along with the main kitchen. The lower area is almost entirely screened in with the exception of two bedrooms and a smaller kitchen space (which were air conditioned). Kitchens were stocked with all the necessities you would need and the place was very clean.We spent pretty much all of our time in the screened in space and down by the pool. As the kids swam we could watch the waves on the beach. While we were there some cayman parrots stopped by along with many other birds as well as an agouti and even some friendly cats. Across the road is the beach, which as people have stated does have some trash, but also has lots of conch shells, corals and sea fans that wash ashore. Further down are tide pools with urchins and anemones.This location was really quiet, which we loved. Just down the road is starfish point where we saw lots of starfish and even rays that swam up to shore. Also rum point is nearby which has an incredible view of the sunset. We had a little hiccup with the air conditioning, but the owners were very communicative and helpful. Despite that we would return in a heartbeat.

Summary: The only concern I have about this stay is worrying about when we will be able to do it again! Fred and Sabine’s property worked out great for our group of eight adults and two children under two! We used the pickleball court and the pool everyday. Not to mention all the screened in outdoor areas, two-three kitchens, and personal bedrooms/bathrooms. Fred and Sabine were attentive without hovering and someone stopped in nearly everyday to check and make sure things were going ok. I feel very grateful that we were able to spend a week at this property. We ate out several times but would not have had to leave the property all week. Chisholm’s grocery store just down the road is perfect for the fill in needs after stocking up on the other side of the island. Lastly but certainly not least, the snorkeling across the road and the ocean views are as good as any place we’ve been on the island, and we’ve been coming here for nearly 10 years! Thank you for this privilege!

Summary: Enjoyed this property so much! Great weather, quiet location & pool was a perfect break from the winter weather back home. Owners excelled at responding to all questions. We like to prepare a lot of our meals & found the kitchens to be very well stocked with utensils needed for cooking. Be sure to stop at Fosters for groceries prior to leaving George Town as the closest variety store to this home is quite expensive.Thank you Fred & Sabine for sharing your property with us. CHEERS!

Summary: The house was perfect for our group of six. Separate rooms with their own bathrooms. The screened in porch was great with lots of room. We used the pool and pickleball court. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We were there in February, no bugs or mosquitoes while we were there. I would recommend seaside and would come back.

Summary: I cant say enough great things about this house, the owners, and this property. The space was amazing and so well laid out for a larger group of people (there were 10 of us total.) We were far enough away to enjoy complete privacy, but close enough to all the things we wanted to see and do. Hal was great and even showed our guys how he fishes and catches lobster! The pool was lovely, the ample amount of screened spaces were ideal. We were able to watch the big games on the TVs and played pickbleball when it wasnt too windy. We spent a few days at Rum Point which is a quick 3 minute drive down the road. Across the road isnt really a "lounging" beach, but we were there often just soaking it all in. And the linens! I dont know where the bathroom towels in the sunset room came from, but they were heavenly soft. Bed was super comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The owners were very responsive with anything we asked and we will absolutely stay here again if returning to the island.

Summary: We are now back in the great white north and missing Grand Cayman. We had such a great week at Seaside. There were 9 of us, 3 couples and 3 young adults. There was plenty of room and it worked out perfectly. The screened in Porch area was awesome. The kids used the pickle ball court and the adults hung on the screened in porch. The beds were comfortable and the AC we great. The kitchen was well equipped but the cookware could use an update but it was still very functional. Overall we have nothing but good to say, location, house and hosts were damn near perfect. We highly recommend Seaside for your next group vacation. Fred and Sabina you guys are great!

Summary: We absolutely loved staying at this property! The house was really well maintained and had all amenities to make the stay great! A total of seven stayed in the house (two families) - one family stayed upstairs and the other stayed downstairs. The owners were very easy to get in touch with and simply checked in during our stay, just to make sure we didn’t need anything. We look forward to coming back!
