Located on the protected cove in the heart of Cayman Kai, Barefoot Lagoon is an ideal option for small families and couples.
This island home spans two floors with the living areas on the lower level and two-bedroom suites on the upper level. The downstairs area features an open floor plan with the living, dining, and kitchen areas flowing into the home's two-story screened lanai porch.
The two-story lanai includes a patio dining area directly off the kitchen. A barbeque sits outside of the lanai perfect for island cookouts.
Tropical trees and shrubs step off the backdoor lead to the shared pool and boat dock where you can launch one of the three kayaks (2 tandem, 1 single) provided during your stay. The pool and dock are just 100 feet from the backdoor. Adventure seekers will want to explore the cove (also known as Bioluminescent Bay) at night to watch the waters glow under the stars.
Back inside, the lower level also includes a small home office, a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, coffee maker, microwave, blender and all the necessary cooking tools, a laundry room, and a half bathroom.
The upper-level features 2-bedroom suites each with a private balcony overlooking the screened lanai.
Our Island House has full air conditioning in the first-floor area and individual air conditioners in each bedroom.

Summary: The property is just as described in the listing. The location is excellent and the home had numerous amenities. We enjoyed being able to walk to Rum Point early mornings or in the evenings and just walk the shore or hang out. We used the kayaks to go out on the Bio Bay. The pool was just steps away. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this apartment during our spring break in the Cayman Islands! The location was perfect — close to the beach, quiet, and very family-friendly. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and the beautiful outdoor space. Communication with the host was easy and smooth. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island!

Summary: We had an amazing stay at the villa. The kids loved playing at the bay, swimming at the pool, and seeing the bioluminescence. The bikes were in good working order and we rode them down to the starfish point area.Rum Point was away from the hustle and bustle of 7mile beach. We were glad that we rented a car to get around. If you're looking for rest and relaxation this is definitely the area for it!RUM

Summary: Zuzanna was great at communicating everything that we needed to make for an enjoyable vacation at Rum Point. The amenities within the residence as well as those in the neighborhood were exactly what we were looking for. She also made some recommendations that were appropriate such as having a rental car. Definitely a must.

Summary: Barefoot Lagoon was JUST PERFECT! The layout was roomy, the kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook and/or grill, and the master bed comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms and the 2nd bedroom for clothes and getting ready was like being home! Pool and grounds were well maintained. Our favorite area was the 2-story lanai. Many evenings were spent there just relaxing and enjoying each other's company. This area of the island may be a bit remote for some looking for the action of SMB but was exactly what we were looking for. Rum Point Beach and restaurant is literally across the street for a great soft sand beach and snorkeling but don't hesitate to explore the North Side and East End! Some good restaurants in those areas! The ferry from Kaibo Beach to Camana Bay is only a couple of miles away if you want the nightlife. And if you're there at the right time kayaking the bioluminescent bay at night directly from the back sand yard and lagoon is worth the exercise. We wouldn't hesitate to rent Barefoot Lagoon again on our next trip to the island!

Summary: Loved the property! exactly as advertised lots of privacy on the Bioluminescent Bay side, and just a few steps to the Rum Point beach, which we spent a lot of time at! Would definitly consider staying here again. The weather was perfect for us, with air temps and water temps both in the low 80s.

Summary: We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Island House. We found it to be very clean and a perfect fiot for our family. The kayaks were great and we super happy to find a grill outside as well. The area is stunning.
