Positive: This place truly is a little piece of heaven. We stayed here in August/September 2023 as part of a tour of about 8 NW US States and Ontario. The Cedar Cabin was everything we hoped it would be - tranquil, picturesque, and simply perfect. The hosts were amazing, providing us with details of the area, and showing us how to use the Canoes, Paddleboards, boat, and wood fired hot tub. But the real beauty of this place is the picture perfect lake, and the absence of other people - absolute heaven. I cannot rate it high enough and should we ever visit Canada again, which I hope we do, it will be our first port of call. The cabin is off the main road along a track, it is simple and honest, right on the edge of the lake, it has a fully equipped kitchen and a deck overlooking the lake with chairs and table, and a wood burner. Jolene was the perfect host allowing us how to use all the facilities at our leisure - and her family were great too, explaining to us how to work things - although I must admit I was very poor at paddleboarding.. At one point we were canoeing, towards the North side of the Lake - and apart from the canoes we were in, and the clothes we were wearing, we could have been the only people on earth. Wow - just wow. Swimming in the lake is amazing too - surprisingly warm. If only I lived nearer..... I could go on for ever.
Negative: Nothing bad to say at all - just loved it.
Summary: An amazing relaxation break in "a little piece of heaven".

Positive: The location is amazing! The lake is an incredibly quiet and tranquil place, with very little boat traffic. The deck of this cottage is almost right on the water, giving you an amazing sunset view!
Negative: Was surprised at the size of the cabin, as the pictures make it look much larger than it is in actual fact. As it is part of a lodge, or series of separate cottages, there was loud music playing well into the early hours of the night (2:30am still going...) There was no response to the multiple texts we sent to the host until the next morning after 9:30am. There is a noise policy, but seems like it isn't enforced very well.
Summary: Beautiful views, unfortunately spoiled by the rudeness and inconsideration of other guests.

Positive: No doubt that the location is it's main plus. A peace of heaven... the proximity to the lake, the wood structure, even the boat and canoe they leave for the gests...
Negative: The place is out of cellular service. So we expected to find the wifi information written somewhere... only the next day of our arrival Chuck came to the place and told us... An other thing that dissapointed us was the outside bathroom...it didn't appeared in the description on Booking.com. And last: the lodge is a little bit small for 4 persons. I would prefer to get a rejection to my order and look a proper place for my family. For example: the table inside the lodge doesn't fit for 4 people. If you have a rainy day (as we had) you will not be able to eat outside and no inside...
