This property is located in the Coosawattee River Resort which means you are able to utilize the amenities of the resort including the Rec Center with indoor olympic size heated pool, exercise room, arcade room, tennis courts, basket ball courts, putt putt golf, picnic areas at various parks within the resort and the 3 outdoor swimming pools (during summer season) at no additional cost to you for authorized groups up to 8 people. Please note, it is out of control should one or any of these amenities not be available during your stay and there should be no expectation of any refunds should this occur. None of our properties are within walking distance to the resort and depending on location, could be a 2 minute to 15 minute drive.
If you are looking for a great river getaway, check out Cedar Shoals, sitting right on the Coosawattee River! This gorgeous custom cedar home provides a great place to just kick back, listen to the music of the river, try your luck with a fishing pole or just relax and watch the many whitetail deer that share this beautiful area. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, both kings, as well as a sleeping loft with 2 twin beds for the kiddos. It is apparent that this cabin was built with love, even most of the furnishings were custom built, with comfort in mind of course!
Enjoy a campfire at the fire pit at river side with that special someone or the whole family, telling ghost stories and eating s'mores. This is a place where memories are made and you'll be counting down when you can return!
Only a short drive into downtown Ellijay where you'll discover great restaurants, shopping at every turn and activities going on just about all the time! Don't forget to check out the wineries and the wine and craft bar downtown.

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:
Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans
Linens for each bed, (2) bath towels (1) hand towel (1) wash cloth per person listed on reservation, dressers or closets for clothing storage, central heat & air, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, cable or satellite TV, internet, telephone for local calls.
In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), arbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).
Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items.
The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay! House was just as described only thing is i wish the river access was a little better for swimming. The map quest directions where not the way to go to find the house. They took us into an area we didn't wanna be. We used our Apple maps to get us out and where we needed to be. Wish we could have turned the AC down below 70. We are from Alabama/Florida and we are use to having ours below that because of heat and humidity.

Summary: We were looking for a quiet scenic location and this absolutely fit our needs. Our priorities were having a nice view and lots of quiet. There are neighbors on either side but we only saw a polite dog and had zero noise issues. This location isnt a good fit for anyone who wants easy access to restaurant and things to do and likes to be able to go back to the house a lot throughout the day. But we tended to stay out all day and then cook dinner at home so it worked great for us. The fact its in a gated community wasnt a major hassle for us, though the drive to theh ouse has a few spots you need to be very careful! We never attempted it in the dark. Other pros are cleaniliness was superb, hot tub was perfect and ready to go, the master bath has a glorious clawfoot tub, and we absolutely loved the porch and seating down by the creek and overall had zero issues. The only con was very, very minor, the kitchen is stocked with the basic cookware and utensils but not a lot of cooking basics like basic spices, pam, sugar, or some things like any ziploc bags plastic wrap, foil, tupperware for packing lunches. Which isnt a problem but we have been very spoiled in other places so its good to know going in. Basics like towels, soaps, shampoos were all provided.

Summary: We ended up in a bigger and nicer cabin because we added an extra person. It was on the river, the cabin was beautiful! The last day it rained so hard the river flooded to the steps on the deck. Great time to leave!

Summary: When we arrived the house was just like the description said. Inside they had done some decorating for Christmas which was wonderful! They had a dog bed, towel and toy set up for our doggies, which was very sweet.Overall it was a beautiful cabin with stunning views!!

Summary: My family and I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing stay at this beautiful cabin. It was even better in person than in photos. We were really pleased and would easily stay here again. Quick bit of advice. We bought tubes and floated down the river from the cabin to the metal bridge. It was great, some nice gentle rapids and only took about an hour and a half. It was great. Thank you!

Summary: Great place with lots of wildlife. The drive in was scary as the roads are very curvy however they were all paved. House was beautiful and we enjoyed grilling and the hot tub and fire pit Would definitely recommend

Summary: The place was really nice, clean, and I was pleasantly surprised how accurately the photos represented the property. The supplies available were a little limited (TP, dishwasher detergent, etc) and we did have to go buy more to get through our stay. Extra blankets would have also been good. It got a little chilly at night. I know you don’t want a lot of extra stuff collecting or being left behind, and I did know ahead of time to bring my own, but having a few basic spices and such available would have been really nice for people planning to cook.

Summary: My husband and I took a quick trip for my birthday and this cabin was perfect! It was exactly as described and such a beautiful location! There were deer everywhere and it was close enough to restaurants and the grocery store! We would definitely stay again!
