Summary: Thank you Centara for honouring the expedia VIP access! On arrival at the airport my bag was tagged by the hotel staff with my room number, unbeknownst to me it was my room upgrade, an over water room, nice! And the wine. My original booking was a beach villa. The boat ride from the airport was smooth and lasted approximately 20 minutes. Thank you Ravee for helping me through the check-in process, providing me with hotel information and assisting me with the hotel app, a very convenient way to see daily activities at the resort, and also very convenient when booking dinner reservations. Thank you also to Suree at the spa for the relaxing facial. The resort was quiet and felt safe. Having a water villa and the ocean to swim in was a joy. Ravee was really helpful in telling me about the water levels throughout the day. And the life jacket being available in the room was a nice touch. A few areas that could be improved are the dead leaves along the pathway, I feel these should be removed regularly. The AC and fan in the room didn't give me much cool air combined, so had uncomfortable sleeping some nights. Lunch was nice in Oceans, but it was pretty much the same daily. Some of the staff at the restaurants are friendly, but others not so friendly, especially if you have eaten there before. I enjoyed dinner at all the restaurants, especially Suan, really nice thai food. A very friendly Thai lady there, but can't remember her name. I would stay at Centara again.

Summary: The hotel is definitely for adults and amenities were geared toward adults as well. I had a great time receiving massages, sunset dolphin watching, semi-sub ride (similar to a glass bottom boat), scuba diving, and plane old swimming. The water was amazingly clear and practically waveless. There were several dining options and the food was excellent every time. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way for us. The room was cleaned daily

Summary: A wonderful stay at the CRF with its superb facilities and many diverse eating options. A special mention to Shana, Yaya and especially to Shohel who kept our over water villa spotlessly clean and tidy and was always helpful and pleasant. The staff at CRF always had a greeting with a smile. We will return!

Summary: The property is awesome, the lady at the check-in was awesome, the guys at the Diving Center are awesome and the house keeping people were awesome. Except Dinesh and wait staffs at Arabian place, I didn’t have a great experience with bartenders nor the waitstaff. Here is why such a comment, they all have a bias towards white skin versus brown skin. Probably because they are all brown skinned, they think they can treat another brown skin guest lower than a white skin guest. The only exception is Tiron who kept coming by to greet and check in on us. 1. I stayed on an a-la carte option so that I can purchase the ones I want to as opposed to the all inclusive option. The Thai place didn’t give me what I ordered, I ordered a Pad Thai at Thai hot spice level but what I got back was more of a sweet and sour taste you would find at Manchu Wok. The waitstaff took the food back and the spice level had little improvement. 2. Went to the dinner buffet, the waiters who usually sees us during morning breakfast, didn’t even care to ask if I wanted a drink. But the next table was asked about wine etc. Little did the waitstaff know that I drink fine wine from the old world. So I don’t know what part of that treatment is VIP. 3. My wife went to the fruit stand asking for mangoes, was told they don’t have them anymore, but another man who went by asking for it got the mangoes, so my question is how did the mangoes suddenly show up? The staffs need to be trained on soft kills and etiquettes

Summary: My wife and I went to the resort for our honeymoon and was an experience to remember. Your expectations of Maldives are that of a screen saver but in person it was 100 times better, the clear warm waters, the marine life, staff, food there wasn’t anything more we could of asked for. Jau in the main restaurant was so caring of our every need and gave us recommendations daily of what to do. Abhi - in the bar was so attentive and put a smile on our face when we saw he was working Harish was amazing as the beach Dj Babu was always happy to see us at the view bar and was quick to come and chat and give us recommendations Arif - our favourite on the island, so friendly and we cannot wait to make the trip back to see the island again and the staff Thank you

Summary: WOW! We had a relaxing experience here. We did a girls only trip. We ate all the food, did multiple excursions, stayed in ann overwater villa, and had multiple spa treatments. Thank you Noom at the spa - you are incredible. Nabel, Suartz, Shawin, Simon, and more I am sure were so amazing and friendly. Always so helpful in the restaurants and/or buffet area. The food was so good and our villa was amazing. The views were beautiful, pools were so relaxing, beach was gorgeous, clean, and relaxing. Checking in and out was so easy and quick. Oh and don’t look at the weather. lol - it showed storms daily, even while there and it rained 1 night for about 30 min and that was it.

Summary: What an incredible place! I stayed here as a solo traveller in one of the over water villas. It was amazingly relaxing experience. The Villa itself is fantastic, with an awesome deck looking out over the sea. The staff are so friendly and helpful and even during the storm on New Year’s Eve they still managed to put on a great event. Excellent food and restaurants, my personal favourite is the Thai restaurant. I’d definitely like to visit again.
