Summary: We had a lovely week in the Spanish town of El Medano- Apartment was clean and well equipped, just as expected. We got a taxi from the airport and were met at apartment by Pino who gave us keys and information - also his phone number should we have any questions. The supermarket across the street has everything you need- including freshly made bread. There’s a lovely butcher’s shop next door- no English spoken and really friendly! There is a small balcony overlooking the street which gets the morning sun, but by afternoon the sun has disappeared. That was the only slight drawback- however the beach is only a few steps away and there are lots of cafes where you can sit and relax . The weather was warm- blue skies every day- and we had left snow behind in Scotland ! The town is a paradise for surfers and on any day you could see over 20 kite surfers performing out on the ocean- stunning! The attraction for that sport there is the wind- Being March, it was windy or breezy every day. Perfect for walking and most days fine for lying on the beach - unless particularly windy! My daughter and I would definitely go back- wonderful place to recharge the batteries and lovely apartment so close to all shops, cafes, beach and restaurants. Thank you.

Summary: The flat is situated on a side street, probably 200metres from lovely clean beach. Not touristy - fab for swimming and water sports that are along at a further beach. The owner was extremely helpful. Good fish restaurants at affordable prices. All in all a great place - thank you!!😊

Summary: We had a lovely stay in El Medano. The town is great for kids, the central plaza is 1 min from the apartment, and has a playground on the beach surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Luis was a very helpful and responsive host. Very happy with our experience

Summary: El Medano is a great place if you like an active and/or relaxing holiday. It is near the southern AirPort and 20 km from the favorite beaches of the south. Santa Cruz is only 55 km away. The appartment of Luis is very inviting, tidy and bright. Luis is a great host. He wants you to feel at home. The appartment is near the sea and the central square with shops and restaurants. We highly recommand to stay here if you want to have a good carefree holiday...

Summary: We stayed one week eof Feb. Very nice apartment at in the town peaceful place ,about 5 min walk to the beach , restaurants , wind-surfing center. Local shop just in front of the street. Everything you need for self catering. Luis welcomed us w/bottle of wine. Excellent communication during the whole stay, very responsive. Luis also supported our 'whale' trip that is an unforgetable event for us. We'd recommend this apartment overall as it's spacious, well located and well equipped for the price. Rgds/JA

Summary: We have just returned home from two weeks in El Medano and couldn't wait to send our review of our stay in Luis' excellent apartment. We were met and warmly welcomed by Luis and Agueda - Luis has an excellent grasp of English, which is very helpful, when showing us around the elegant and extremely well situated flat. In some ways the photographs in the advert don't tell enough of the space and ambiance that exists there. The flat is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. You will find the flat is very close to all that El Medano has to offer. In fact within minutes we were strolling along the boardwalk enjoying the lively and beautiful vista. The main bedroom is very comfortable and there is lots of hanging/ storage space. There's lots of clean,fresh bed linen and towels available too. We slept very well in there. The bathroom, very adequate even though the shower is a little small for some of us 'bigger' folks. The washing/drying machines are in the bathroom too. We didn't use the dryer preferring to dry washing on the compact verandah. Although on the second floor of the building, we were able to use the subtly lit verandah for evening drinks etc. The kitchen is very well equipped. Cooking, especially using the fabulous meat from the butcher below- solomillo the likes of which we've never bought at home - was very easy and very reasonable too. The free wifi is very strong in the front rooms, where the router is situated but can be a bit patchy in the main bedroom. It wasn't a problem for us. There are lots of restaurants/bars and shops in El Medano. Most mornings we walked down to the seafront to sit and drink a coffee whilst watching folks walk by. We enjoyed tapas in lots of the restaurants and would find it difficult to say which was best. All very good. We have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone, friends and strangers alike. When we come, back we'll certainly be booking it.

Summary: Luis is a great host! communication was very quick and planning very easy. When we arrived Luis welcomed us personally and even bought us groceries for starters, the appartment was very clean, comfortable and tidy, with everything exactly as seen on the photos. We really enjoyed our 2 week stay and couldn't wish for more. We recommend this appartment to anyone who can appreciate comfort also the village offers a variety of restaurants and nice bars which add up to your holiday experience in El Medano. We will come back for sure, thanks Luis!
