Positive: Unique individual private chalets within a lovely garden rural setting. We were welcomed by owner Tania who was helpful, interested in us, and gave us information about the local area and upcoming blossom festival. We also enjoyed our walks in the garden accompanied by two cute wee dogs Buddy and Gus. We highly recommend Central Chalets and look forward to returning one day.

Negative: The old owners offered a winter rate as you can't use pool spa etc in the Winter. We are only able to travel in Winter so it's a perk. End of August usually still falls under winter rates

Positive: Great service thanku, Everything about this cabin was on point, talk about convient.. the washing machine was in the kitchen and had a roof fan in both rooms (amazing), the grounds were spacious and fresh, we also were welcomed by the friendliest little dogs which was a highlight for our kids, can't wait to return 👍

Positive: This estate is located by a winery, where there is less than a 5-minute drive to Alexandra town centre. Several chalets are in a lovely orchard setting. We stayed there between 6 Feb and 8 Feb. The fruit trees in the estate were bearing delicious apples, red and green plums and pears. The bonus was that the owner allowed us to pick as much fruit as we liked. The cooking utensils did not allow us to cook meals that suited our palates while staying there. If you only want to cook some pasta or noodles, those utensils may serve the purpose. Beds were comfortable, and the environment was quiet, which was good for good nights of sleep. The chalet we stayed in gave us good privacy because it is hidden in beautiful trees and shrubs. Rooms were clean and bright during the day, but at night, the rooms were dark after we closed all the curtains. There are also fly screens on the windows, which allow air flow, and at the same time, keep flies and other insects at bay. The host was enthusiastic and lovely. She quickly responded to our request. All in all, it is worth staying and good value for money!
