The 45m2 large 2-bedroom apartment is on the first Floor of a former town house (master carpenter house) and originally dates from the late 15th Century and has recently undergone a complete renovation.

The apartment offers the combination of old buildings and new, contemporary furnishings with a new bathroom with large shower.

The house itself has a spacious lift.

The Steingasse is one of the oldest streets in Salzburg and sprayed driving a unique atmosphere. The alley is particularly appreciated by artists and visitors at the Salzburg Festival.

The apartment is located near the Mozart ridge leading over the Salzach.
The main attractions and the festival district are within walking distance in a few minutes. A few doors down you will find the restaurant "Andi Hofer", Salzburg's oldest and most popular student pub and other restaurants.

Summary: This warm, comfortable and well-appointed apartment couldn't have been more convenient for our week in Salzburg. It is in a quiet neighbourhood but only a short walk from all the amenities and attractions of the city. Buses for the surrounding area and the airport are a just a few minutes walk from the apartment. We did not meet Hannes in person, but we received speedy responses to our enquiries and it was clear that the apartment is personally managed with care and attention.

Summary: Fantastic apartment which slept 3 (or 4) very well. Host was very approachable and available. We had a small hiccup at checkin which he dealt with immediately and effectively, and as it was possible, we were able to checkin early when our train arrived. Well appointed apartment and a very pleasant stay.

Summary: The apartment was clean and very well located. You can walk pretty much anywhere from apartment. It was a little hard to locate at first but then no problem. Was great to have a lift for luggage. A great stay in Salzburg

Summary: The Central City Apartment was the most unique and enjoyable stay we have had in years! The location was perfect, right across from Mozartsteg. We were there during the snowstorm and the Christmas markets. What a fantastic place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. The place is cozy, comfortable, and unique. My wife and I have already talked about coming back to Salzburg and staying there again. Thank You Hannes!

Summary: We loved staying at this unique and comfortable property, built into the rock wall on Steingasse. It was an easy and enjoyable walk to Linzergasse, Old Town, and Mirabellplatz. The amenities made our stay easier. Salzburg was wonderful!

Summary: The apartment was easy to find, and very close to access town across the river. We had trouble with the washing machine, getting it to open, but the host was quick to respond to questions. We would stay there again, and recommend to friends and family going to Salzburg.

Summary: We had a superb time in Salzburg and the great location of Hannes appartment provided a very central and convenient launching pad to see the sights of Salzburg. As a couple in our late sixties we enjoyed the comfort of the appartment, and it’s amenities and would have no hesitation in staying there again. We also enjoyed two fabulous meals in the Steingasse within a couple of minutes of the apartment.

Summary: It was an excellent ideal for two people. It had everything you needed and more. The interaction with the owner was very good. It was very central and the transport links by bus we're also very good. If we came to Salzburg again this is where we would stop. And for myself the lift was a bonus.
