Positive: It was a spacious environment in a great area. Getting anywhere was convenient. The bidet in the bathroom was a new experience. More space than needed for two people. Great for a couple with two older kids, or a couple and two friends. Very clean. Parking is on the street. Separate entrance into basement.
Negative: It did get a little bit loud at times because of the children upstairs. This included stomping, and some yelling. It was the weekend though, and it is the host families home, so it was expected.
Summary: Great space for a weekend getaway.

Positive: Clean, great location to downtown Halifax, to major highways and grocery stores. Loved the separate entrance and privacy.
Negative: The internet/wifi issue. We had no wifi 3 out of the 5 days spent there. Host stayed the technicians could not fix it because of the snow fall and it was cold lines frozen.

Positive: My first time staying at any bnb, and it was above and beyond any hotel stay. Everything I could possibly need was stocked there and it just felt more like a home away from home. The host was super friendly and was quick to reply to any questions I had and if I needed anything else they made sure to provide it . Ordered takeout for the most part but now I know I can just bring groceries and cook anything with the stove. Even shoveled the snow to doorway and salted steps so there was no slip and falls. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in a quiet neighborhood who appreciates privacy as well.
Negative: Nothing comes to mind honestly. If I had to pick anything it would be that the small beds in extra room were a little less comfortable than the main bedroom double bed but would still be fine for kids.
