Positive: The attendants at reception were friendly and helpful. Without issue, we were able to store our baggage for 1/2 day before leaving for the airport. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The presence of our car rental agency in the basement of the hotel was very convenient for us. The hotel's location close the Halifax waterfront, with its restaurants, was another positive feature. Overall, the hotel is very good for business clients as well as tourists not too concerned about accommodation costs.
Negative: A 'happy hour' promotion for the cocktail bar/lounge would have been nice.
Summary: Our stay at the Westin in Halifax was one expected from a global hotel chain.

Positive: Well-kept hotel, great staff. Perfect room and bathroom. Stayed for 5 days and have no complaints. A special thanks to Lee at the front door, this guy needs a raise, greeted us like long lost relatives and was a wealth of information about restaurants and the city.
