Positive: I have had an extraordinary stay. The room was very clean and well equipped. I slept in most of the days but when I left and came back somewhen in the afternoon, my room was still cleaned. The WiFi worked without any problems and the location was perfect, just a few minutes from the metro station, 10 minutes from the Bund by foot and actually directly in the famous nanjing road. I had a massage in the spa, which wasn't the best, but still okay, you get a voucher for a discount. the staff was friendly and helpful and spoke good English

Positive: The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting the city. It’s very close to the East Nanjing road and 20minutes walk from the Bund area. The room was very big and clean with all the comforts and the breakfast was good and with plenty of choices, both Chinese and continental. I would recommend this hotel for visiting Shanghai.

Positive: Location - Excellent! Only 3 minutes' walk from the famous shopping district Nanjing Road West. Room - Very spacious and clean. Beds are very comfortable! Breakfast - N/A
Negative: Gym - The only let-down of our 6-night stay. Used it for three times and not once it was adequately lit. During workouts, saw several guests in their gym outfits walked in but then pulled back a few minutes later, eventually leaving me and my partner the only guests there whenever onsite. As a 4-star hotel, its choice of gym equipment is also limited (e.g. Would be nice if there is a rowing machine). The vending machine was unstocked and no disinfectant supplies were provided.
Summary: Happy with ALL aspects of our stay except for the gym. Location is excellent!
