Zen Hideaway is nestled in the old Grasshopper Flats neighborhood with long views of Coffee Pot Rock, Thunder Mountain/Capitol Butte, Sphinx, Brins Mesa and Sugarloaf Mountain to the north. It is a lovely, updated, super-clean guest house (located adjacent to the main house). Zen Hideaway has its own private driveway and entrance, private patio, and hot tub.
Centrally located in West Sedona, on a street with a mix of owner-occupied and short / long term rental homes. Zen Hideaway is just a short walk to Whole Foods, Fresh & Natural Thai Restaurant, Stagecoach Steakhouse, and Vespa Italian Cafe (all at the end of the street!), plus Starbucks, numerous restaurants----vegans/vegetarians will be thrilled for the nearby ChocolaTree, Mary D. Fisher Theater & Harkins Theater, Adobe Jack trail head (Cook's Hill) with connections to many hike and bike trails, Posse Grounds activity area with mountain bike skills course, and more........
The mature tree-lined street leads you to Zen Hideaway where, during summertime, you're greeted by lush greenery of Chaste and plum trees. When arriving, you'll immediately begin to feel at home. Two parking spaces are available in the private concrete driveway.
Upon entering, you'll find yourself in the modern centrally cooled / heated open living area with integrated kitchenette and dining space. Offering tiled flooring throughout, after a day of hiking or biking relax on the comfortable Italian leather sofa seating and watch tv, a movie on the 65-inch flat panel LED Smart television or catch up on email via the high-speed wireless internet connection. Alternately, chill out on the private patio and watch the stars, or escape to the private hot tub which is just outside the master bedroom suite's patio door. Ponder life's mysteries and meaning while you relax in the outdoors! Two complimentary yoga mats for you to enjoy.
Sleeping consists of a single bedroom with ensuite bath and private patio access. The bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and memory foam mattress for your comfort. Pillows range from feather to memory foam to polyester, your choice! For guests wishing to wash laundry during their stay, a stackable washer / dryer is provided.
Many eateries are within easy walking distance or, use the well-equipped kitchenette featuring electric hotplate, microwave, refrigerator, drip coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, plus all the necessary pots, pans, cutlery, and dishware. Alternatively, cook on the large stainless-steel BBQ out on the patio.

Summary: The property was well located, clean, well stocked for all our needs. The hot tub was grrat after hiking and to view the starry sky. Easy check in, Location is near everything. I used the yoga mats on the back deck. Suggestion for drawer storage for clothing, there are hanging clothes storage in the closets. Kitchen appliances, washer/dryer were nice ro have. Robes available for use. Del gave an introduction to the property via phone on arrival and answered questions. We would definitely stay here again! Recommend Zen Hideaway!. we felt safe and close to

Summary: First time user of VRBO and the experience was great. The owner kept us informed through the whole process. Would suggest to friends and family. Very nice place on a quit street close to food and coffee plus was able to use the transit system for getting around.

Summary: We loved our stay here! The space was perfect, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a nice way to unwind. Convenient location. We were thrilled to find an outdoor art market set up the weekend we were there just a few hundred feet away.

Summary: This place is cozy in all the right ways. The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen has room to move and the back deck wraps around two sides of the building with a hot tub waiting. The parking is easy and the street had very little traffic. The owner is polite and easy to get ahold of. 👍👍

Summary: This place was fantastic. There were no surprises everything was just as shown. Very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a great plus. The communication Between Shel and Del was great. If we ever make it out that way again we would love to stay there again.
