This is a great rental house due to its most convenient location...Close to the markets, central plaza, restaurants, shops and galleries, park, etc... Attractive cobbled streets in a residential community of custom homes just 2 blocks from the center of town with friendly people, and very reasonable services.
This Non-Smoking house is elegant with a private garden. It is walking distance, 2 blocks, from the town center yet offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen is complete with all the basic needs for cooking and the dining table seats six. Each bedroom has a private bathroom.
Tequisquiapan is considered the geographical center of Mexico and is located in the state of Queretaro. Queretaro is one of the most progressive states in Mexico and Tequisquiapan sits on a high plateau near de Sierra Madre Oriental. Because the altitude is 1860 meters (6400 feet), the air is dry and the nights are cool. from 0-24 degrees C.(32-75 degrees F.) but rarely dip below freezing.

Summary: My family stayed for four weeks in this home. The pictures of the house on the VRBO website made it look beautiful. In fact, it was even more beautiful than the pictures could capture: immaculate, lovely rooms, soaring domed ceilings, light playing across the walls from the cupola. Located in a quiet, pretty, gated community with excellent security there is a lovely club pool and small park right near the house. Well supplied for all needs. The description says 2 blocks to the central square - again an understatement as those same two blocks also take you to the square, the city market, taxi and local bus stands, the official tourist office, artisanal markets, book store, cultural center, large park, and a wonderful selection of shops and excellent restaurants. The other direction (over the foot bridge) takes you in a couple blocks to horseback riding and a nice balneario (pools and water slides). Amazing location. The owners were welcoming, helpful, and flexible. Tequiquiapan is a charming and restful place.

Summary: You will not find a more convenient and amazing accommodations while enjoying your time in Tequisquiapan. The pictures do not do the property justice. The house is one of the nicest ones in the gated community. Yvonne and Michael were extremely helpful and a absolute delight to deal with... Would not hesitate to stay there again. Many Thanks :)
