Negative: Expensive compared with other Chateaus we stayed in on this trip. I missed where it said you had to book dinner in advance, but found a superb restaurant 8 kilometres away. The beautiful gardens need work. They had been superb in the past but neglected. Being a keen gardener, I would love 4 weeks stay to get them back to former glory!

Positive: An incredibly picturesque chateau near to Le Mans, we loved everything, the pool, the grounds and the chateau itself. We had a brilliant nights sleep and the breakfast next morning was also very nice. All in all a great stay.

Positive: Most beautiful building and parkland. Very warm and friendly welcome. Room in the turret was exceptional. Lovely attention to detail including fresh flowers in the room. The cleanliness was 10/10 especially considering the age of the building. Hosting was exceptional and we also decided to have dinner at the hotel which was superb and served in a very elegant and beautiful dining room. The host was able to tell us the full history of the house including how she and her family came to own and love it which made it even more special.
