Positive: The grounds were spectacular! The host was magnificent! The room was from a fairytale and the history of the chateau was the cherry on top. We had a swim in the pool before a wonderful meal prepared by the host - the whole experience was exceptional!

Positive: Our first night in the Loire Valley, staying at the gorgeous 16th century Chateau du Plessis-Anjou, which has been owned by the same family for 300 years. Valerie was a wonderful charming hostess. Her home cooked meal was a delicious treat. Felt like I was stepping straight into Bridgerton with the antique crystal, silver, china, and after dinner coffee in the salon... the grounds and walled gardens were gorgeous even in September. Room was gorgeous, comfortable. and very clean. The country was quiet and peaceful.
