Positive: This stay was amazing. The views from the hotel are unbeatable and the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. We were able to check in early and leave our luggage there the day we checked out while we explored Lucerne.
Negative: Nothing, it was amazing!

Positive: The setting , location and facilities are nothing but grand old Europe . The front desk especially were extremely friendly and helpful . Breakfast was opulent . Nothing compares to the view - whatever you do get a city view
Negative: A little too much in the upcharging dept. For the view ok , for the parking maybe but $100 + for breakfast - for two ? Stingey. . Should hve a simple option continental breakfast available or dare I say included , as in most Hotels in Europe . Also the electricals hve not been upgraded to accomodate cell phones and the hot water was insufficient in the shower . But the View …….. !

Positive: Beautiful property with incredible views. The bar and restaurant are amazing.
Negative: The hotel does not have a ramp to help with luggage and the staff seemed really annoyed if asked to help. We had large pieces of luggage and struggled with the entrance steps. My mom who is in her 70’s slipped and fell. Luckily I was able to catch her before she hit the ground.
Summary: Great location with incredible views! One staff member in particular was annoyed and unkind.

Positive: I booked one night here for our special anniversary weekend. I chose Chateau Gutsch because I knew it would make a great memory. From the funicular lift to the friendly staff, generous free minibar and amazing breakfast with a view of the lake, this was a 5 star experience!
Negative: The plugs in the room were swiss fittings, so I couldn't use my normal 2 pin euro plug adapters. The room was very spacious and my wife thought it could do with a sofa in the middle of the room, in front of the TV.
