Chalet Détente Orford is a charming condominium-chalet, recently renovated with all the commodities for a perfect vacation and one of the very few properties, in Orford, accredited by Vélo Québec as bicycle friendly (Bienvenue Cyclistes).
You will enjoy one closed bedroom, full bathroom, cozy living room with its fireplace, Smart TV and a sofa-bed (Queen). Take time to relax and play Monopoly, Scrabble or a game of cards (all in the Chalet).
The ultra functional and modern kitchen is fully equipped. In the summer you can enjoy diner on the terrasse with a BBQ at your disposal. Free reserved private parking for 1 car and access to an extra parking space in the visitors' section. Our private shed will enable you to securely store your bicycle in summer and your ski equipment in winter.
Our chalet gives you access to a private lake at walking distance (Lac à l'écluse).

Summary: We were in Canada visiting my niece and her family. The condo was only a short 10 min drive away. It was very comfortable-very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Neighborhood was very scenic and quiet.

Summary: The condo is in great shape (clean and modern) and very well equipped. The location was close to a lot of hiking trails. Florence was very responsive to us before and during our stay. It exceeded our expectations and we plan to use this for future trips to this area.

Summary: We spent two days on the long weekend of May at this beautiful renovated condo. Everything is as the photos - - clean, fresh, newly done bathroom and kitchen, which was well stocked with everything needed for a stay of any length. The bedding was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet. The area where the condo is located is near Parc Orford where one can golf, hike, bike and many other family activities. On the flip side, this area is also a winter haven for downhill, cross-country, snow shoeing, hiking, etc. Nature at it's best! You are minutes away from the town of Magog, where there is shopping for groceries, many restaurants, shops and local spots to visit. We highly recommend this place; Florence was very receptive and responsive to our needs. We will return!
