This beautiful, authentic chalet with sauna is blessed with breathtaking views and a great location, in the heart of the Vosges mountains. It comfortably accommodates a family or a group of friends. The property is not ideal for holidaymakers with reduced mobility.
The property is located at the foot of the Ballon d'Alsace and the Ballon de Servance, near the Moselle and close to the picturesque Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle. The region offers wonderful cycling and hiking routes with altitude differences between 550 and 1250 metres. You can do winter sports at the ski resorts of Le Rouge Gazon and Ventron (30 km of slopes; ranging from green to black). For beginners, there is a ski school with treadmill. Various events are organised during holiday periods, such as torchlight processions and night sled racing.
A place free of mass tourism where authenticity, primal cosiness and excellent local gastronomy come together. The chalet is relatively simple but equipped with all necessities. You can relax in the spacious garden with terrace and barbecue.

Summary: Leuk chalet in een rustige buurt. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De bedden zijn goed, hoewel het tweepersoonsmatras veel te klein is voor het bed. Hier en daar is wel onderhoud nodig, deuren en ramen sluiten/openen moeilijk en in de keuken is ruimte voor 1 persoon. Pluim voor de beheerder en zijn gezin, zij regelen alles voor je, beantwoorden vragen en zijn de vriendelijkheid zelve. Ook heel prettig dat zij nederlands spreken. Heerlijke vakantie gehad!

Summary: Goede en mooie en vooral ook rustige locatie. Huisje voorzien van alle gemakken. Sauna is goed, maar alles is ruim genoeg voor twee. Met meer dan 2 a 3 wordt het krap. Het onthaal was goed en bijzonder vriendelijk. Tuin was ruim en goed, maar jammer genoeg niet geheel af te sluiten (hond moest nog aan een lijn blijven). Heel plezierig gefietst en gewandeld door de prachtige omgeving aan de voet van de Ballon d'Elzas.

Summary: De ontvangst van de beheerder was erg vriendelijk met een flesje wijn en chocolaatjes. Het huisje ligt in een prachtige omgeving met mooi uitzicht. Binnen was het erg knus met een goede open haard en cv. De keuken was goed voorzien o.a. grote koel-vriescombinatie kleine vaatwasser, fornuis, magnetron koffiezetter, waterkoker toaster enz. De badkamer is voorzien van een nieuwe douchcabine en wastafelmeubel. (Het rook wel wat muf in de badkamer) Om de Kleine vide te bereiken moet je via een scheve wiebelige trap, daar staat een slaapbankje van 140x190 cm. In de 1e slaapkamer staat een hard bed van 140x190 cm en in de 2e slaapkamer 2: 1 persoonsbedden van 80 x 190 cm waarvan de lattenbodems met ducttape aan elkaar waren geplakt. De bedden waren te klein voor ons helaas. De living is erg knus en gezellig. En de wifi verbinding was erg goed. De houten veranda voor het huis hing op diverse plekken door en er staken spijkers en schroeven uit. Hetzelfde geld voor het houten tuinpad en er zaten planken los. In de garage staat een goede wasmachine en een oudere droger. In de garage kun je tevens het vuilnis kwijt. Wat tussendoor zou worden opgehaald. Echter er zijn alleen 2 plastic afval zakken tussen door afgehaald. De rest is blijven liggen + het afval van de vorige huurders die er ons gehele verblijf er lag. Waardoor het geheel nogal onfris aandeed. Voor ons (5 personen)was het huisje echt te klein. Verder in de omgeving zijn er een aantal mooie skigebieden voor een betaalbare prijs. Waar wij erg van genoten hebben. Jammer van de minpunten. Ik denk dat dit makkelijk op te lossen is.

Summary: Très bon accueil par le propriétaire. Le chalet était propres et bien équipé. Endroit calme et bonne situation pour promenades en été. Un peu petit pour 6 personnes.
