Summary: Very nice place and set up nice for a group, but disappointed that there was no access to the snowmobile trail without going on the road, otherwise fine

Summary: The minute we stepped into the chalet we felt at home. The home was very clean and lives up to every description. It was a 4 night stay for hubby and I. Away from all the daily hassles and craziness. Will definitely recommend and hope to come back.

Summary: Staying at The Chalet was like home away from home. Darrick was easy to work with and responded to inquiries in timely manner. The conviece of being close to town was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We had a very enjoyable and unique stay at the Chalet. We booked the rental for the week of the total eclipse, and we were not disappointed. The host let us know before our arrival of an impending late-season snowstorm and wanted to make sure we would be ok. Once the storm began Derick monitored the deteriorating conditions and had a plow come by twice to clear the driveway out to the road. For the better part of three days, we hunkered down to read, stream movies and shows and play a few of the games provided, staying warm and dry in the Chalet. Overall, we found the Chalet to be a comfortable place with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, especially the plentiful hot water, the washer and dryer and provided WiFi. We will book this place again, should we ever need a place to stay in this part of Maine in the future.

Summary: Having to drive snowmobiles one mile down the side of a major paved road(rte 6/15) is not "ITS Access". We were almost hit by a truck and ruined ski wear bars just to get to and from the rental. We would not have rented this house if we knew this. Also the driveways were glare ice and the grill had two empty bottles of propane so unuseable. The house was clean and nice. I would not recommend for a snowmobile vacation.
