Summary: I was looking for a hotel that was clean, well maintained, and good value. The Champlain Inn exceeded on all three counts. Every part of the property from the hotel room and bathroom, to the reception area, to the grounds, were clean, tidy and in excellent repair. It was clear that there was pride of ownership. A word of caution for anyone looking for a hotel with amenities; there are none at the Champlain Inn. Moreover, the rooms may be tidy and clean, but they are not opulent. The beds, however, are very comfortable and you will enjoy a good night's sleep.
