Positive: Beautiful setting beside the lake. Rooms are fine, if a bit tired.
Negative: "Grab and go" breakfast was the least tempting option we have been offered so far in Canada. Having the hotel restaurant open for dinner from 4-7pm hardly seems worth the effort. I went to view the menu at 6-15 and was told ' ...we haven't had any customers, so we'll be closing soon'. Not exactly welcoming. Luckily, we had a great evening at the Wilno Tavern instead.

Positive: The location was relaxing and quiet. The staff was friendly and super great to converse with. The rooms have a balcony with a view on the lake. You can hear the waves hit the shore (beach). The restaurant closes earlier than typical time but for understandable reasons.
Negative: The room's ceiling and bathroom fan could use a little cleaning. There was a bit of dust on them.

Negative: The frozen dinner and microwaved breakfast sandwich served in the plastic.

Positive: The staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and unbelievably helpful.
Negative: I had two different rooms while I stayed there. The first room was in desperate need of upgrades. The floor was Sandy. There was no bathmat of any kind for when you get out of the shower. The towels were very thin and there was no refilling of coffee or cleaning of any kind. Just towels swapping out and I was there for days. I also had to take all of my stuff out of the room, put it in my car go to my Conf come back, unload it and put it in my new room when I changed rooms.. I don’t know why they wouldn’t move the rooms for me. I would’ve paid for it. That’s never happened to me at a hotel before..
Summary: All in all a lovely stay some of the rooms really need to be updated though.
