Rural house located in the village of Ornaisons surrounded by vineyards and pine forests. The cottage is in a former sweeping dating from 1835 adjoining the owner's house and on a plot of over 3000 m2. On the ground floor, a well open-plan kitchen living room with a typical Languedoc fireplace. A French window gives access to a private garden of around 200 m2 with terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. On the 1st floor, on the landing an independent WC, a bedroom with double bed and shower room. On the 2nd floor, a bedroom with double bed (possibility of an additional single bed) and a bathroom and separate wc. In the village, small local shops and numerous cellars of Corbières appellation wines. 10 minutes from Fontfroide Abbey, 20 minutes from Narbonne, 35 minutes from the beach and the City of Carcassonne, 15 minutes from the Canal du Midi, you will be ideally located for visiting our beautiful department and the wild and magnificent landscapes of our Corbières.

Summary: Enough space for a family of 5. Property located on D road through Ornaisons. Parking just off property, easy to access. Good location to get to both beach and Carcassonne. 10 mins to nearest supermarket. Nice outdoor eating space. Beautiful pine forest behind property.

Summary: Beautiful character house with lovely grounds to enjoy in a little village close to Narbonne. Great location for visiting caves and chateaux for degustation, and seeing sights in Narbonne, Carcassonne, Agde and Grussan.

Summary: Part of old farming property but charmingly kept many of the old building features. Owners very accommodating when our travel plans changed. Good experience all-round.

Summary: Everything about this property is perfect. Beautiful situation with garden and patio, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms and great bathrooms. Ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of France. Marc and his partner were most welcoming hosts and we would love to return.

Summary: Communication with property manager had some problems because of the Home Away app, which did not work well and prevented communication. The owner, who lives on the property was very gracious, friendly and helpful. The apartment is quite rustic. Location is quiet, close to the town center, which has a great bakery. I biked in for croissants in the morning. Great loction to tour this part of France.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house has been very tastefully renovated and provided an ideal base for touring the area. The attention to detail in the house is really noticeable, all has obviously been well thought out and every item adds to the appeal. We will come again.
