Summary: This was the perfect beautiful and quiet apartment centrally located to the old city. The old city was surprisingly fun to walk around and beautifully restored along with wonderful food especially cassoulet, So we were very happy to have this location and highly recommend it to explore this gorgeous area. Also the hosts were perfect And everything we needed was there.

Summary: A fabulous property in a perfect location for exploring Carcassonne. This house is within walking distance of the old and new cities. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you will need. Perfect for exploring Canal Midi on bikes. Owners are extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: Lovely little city to explore. Accommodation was great, Very spacious. Apartment attached to the owners house but you wouldn’t know it, very private. Emmanuel was kind enough to pick us up and drop us at the airport. Would stay again. Five stars.

Summary: We ( a couple of 30 years old) had an excellent stay at the Vavdin house at Carcasonne. The rooms were charming, with high quality materials and all the equipment and space needed. The swimming pool was also excellent, big enough to do laps. The swimming pool is also located behind the house and surrounded by trees, which gives good privacy. The rooms also had a seperate terrasse with comfortable chairs. The location is good, just next to a park (to go and play petanque) and at 5min. walk to the citadel of Carcasonne. The seaside is at a 30min. drive, and an excursion to Spain is at just 1 hour (Barcelone). The family welcomed us with open arms, without introduing to much. Really great people. Thank you! We just loved it, and won't think twice to come back!
