Summary: We had one week end May, our second stay at the house after 5 years. The house is comfortable and perfect for two couples (or a family), a house furnished for regular longer stays. Fully equipped kitchen and perfect places to sit, either in the rustic/modern kitchen, at the lower patio in the shadow or at the upper terrace with full sun from sunrise till sunset. The house is situated in the small village Ameugny, 20 min from Cluny and 30 min from Tournus, petfect to explore Southern Burgundy, or to join the activities in the Taizé community in walking distance. We enjoyed a rich and happy week in the house, many thanks for this.

Summary: We were looking for a self catering property in the proximity of Taize and this cute, older style property in the centre of Ameugny ticked all our boxes. It was quiet situated in the centre of this village with beautifull views over the surrounding countryside in a very pleasant garden. It was well equipped with a very confortable bed.. Perhaps a guide to the usuage of the modern, electric range would be usefull. Overall we recommend a stay in this property if you value peace, calm, good vues and warm sunshine...!

Summary: Comfortable and well-appointed house on 4 levels in a small Clunysois village. Pleasant outdoor areas for eating or relaxing. Close to major sites of interest such as the Château of Cormatin, the remains of the famous Cluny abbey, Taizé, and caves at Azé and Blanot. Also close to shops in Cormatin, Salornay-sur-Guye and Cluny. Attractive surrounding countryside of wooded hills and the valleys of the Grosne to the east and the Guye to the west. About an hour by car to the south to the Beaujolais and to the north the Côte d’Or.

Summary: A charming house with a historic part, thoroughly renovated and modernized with great skill and taste, situated in a beautiful garden. Splendid view over the landsacpe of the Mâconnais, picturesque surroundings, next to the romanesque church of Ameugny. Silent, friendly neighbourhood; next shops in Cormatin (3km) and Cluny. Very well equipped kitchen, two modern bathrooms, ample garden furniture, bicycles available for use. Two terraces with sun / shade. We spent a wonderful week with cooking, sightseeing in the near region, and visits to Taizé (in walking distance). Ideal for exploring the romanesque heritage of the area around Cluny.

Summary: It's a beautifull very old, you can even say romantic, house. The house is well equiped and comfortable. The house is not verry practacle, because of the 5 different levels, but it defenitely gives the house it's charm. The neighbouhood is beatyfull, it's very quite and the views are realy beautifull, it's very relaxing. The owner is very pleasant to communicate with and the welcome to the house was very friendly. I would definetely recommend this accomodation and I'm quite sure I will spend here some more time in future.
