Summary: Four of us stayed in this wonderful house just an easy 500m walk from Monet’s garden in Giverny. The home was spotlessly clean and well-appointed with all the things we needed for our short stay. The outdoor dining area was so lovely that we decided to prepare simple meals to eat there! We would all love to return in the future for a longer stay. Thanks to Emmanuelle for hosting and her great communication prior to our arrival!

Summary: The home was quite spacious and while the layout is a bit odd, it's part of the charm of the home. We loved the sun room porch and all of the unique features and details included with the home. There were lots of old photos that added to the charm. My parents who are close to 80 stayed in the downstairs bedrooms. There were 7 of us total in the home and it was close to Monet's gardens. Absolutely everything we were hoping for! Merci Beaucoup

Summary: We stayed here for a short family summer break and were not disappointed. The house and garden is a treasure trove of delights with lots of space to be together or separate! We were lucky to have good weather which meant we were able to relax in the garden and enjoy BBQing. We visited Monet's house and garden (very colourful), Roche Guyon (amazing views and buildings), Versaille Palace (very grand) and the Tour Eiffel (on a day of 38 degrees so very hot). We also popped to Vernon for a quick sight see, as well as to go to Lidl and a pizza takeaway! Emmanuelle (the host) and Josse (neighbour from whom we collected the keys) were both very friendly and helpful. Emmanuelle emailed us a couple of days before our trip to say there were issues with the wifi (unfort this meant some of our group couldn't come as they had work committments that required reliable internet access), but it was sorted out within a day of us arriving - so the teenagers were happy! On our last morning, we were woken up by the sound of hot air balloons flying over. How lovely is that! We are so happy that we chose this beautiful place to stay. Thank you so much!

Summary: Our family group of 9 including mum, aged 80+ with poor mobility, 2 couples and children aged 5, 12 and 17 all had a fantastic and comfortable time at this amazing house. The house is well equipped, spacious, quirky and full of character. The garden is lovely providing relaxed, safe areas to sit/eat/play in sun or shade. The location is great-10 mins walk max to Monet’s house and garden and 10 mins drive to Vernon. During our stay we visited Paris, Versailles, Rouen (all less than 1.5 hours driving distance) We would have liked to stay longer to have more time in the house!

Summary: My small family stayed in this gorgeous old home in June 2016. We were traveling around the French countryside with my mother in law who has limited mobility. I chose this place simply because it was located just steps from Monet's Garden and was the only local place I could find with a ground floor bathroom and bedroom. We certainly lucked out! The place is huge, comfortably decorated and equipped to house, seat, and feed MANY people. It was terrific to have the place to ourselves but I would really like to bring my extended family back for a longer stay and more exploring of the region. The grounds are very inviting and the setting is beautiful. The owner was wonderfully accommodating and very pleasant. We will stay longer next time.

Summary: We spent a week in this wonderful house May 1 to May 8 ,2016. We are a group of art students from Finland who wanted to capture the beauty of Monet`s Garden on paper. It could not have been more perfect, the house was beyond description, well equipped in every way, the surrounding garden where we could sit and paint or draw was so beautiful and inspirirational. Our wonderful host helped us to get acsess too Monet`Garden after opening hours which meant that we could scetch in the " Garden " and work on our art " at home " We enjoyed every minute of our stay, we had nice dinners in the lovely diningroom in the evenings exchanging exprinces of our days. We are so thankful to our host Emmannuelle as well as her lovely nighbour Celine and her family who helped us settleling in. P.s Monet` Garden was practically our next dooor nighbour. Summary: So glad to find this amazing gem on outskirts of Giverny. It totally met the needs of our extended family who travelled to Giverny for a relatives wedding. This is a large peaceful property and grounds with oodles of French period character. Everything was exceptionally clean and quirky. You do not need to be afraid of forgetting something as it is equipped for every eventuality. We managed to decorate a 4 tier wedding cake on site keeping it cool out of the 27C heat outside. We had an 18 month old who was also in his element playing with the toys from the children's den and running around the extensive peaceful well kept garden. So many outside areas to sit and you follow the sun all day or stay in the shade- your choice. If you are unsure whether to book this property just do it. You will have no regrets as long as you are not looking for modern minimalistic accommodation. We feel honoured at having been given the opportunity to enjoy this period home. Fantastic for a big family gathering. Love to return maybe for an anniversary in the future.

Summary: All 8 of us loved this charming house. The large sun room made a great rainy day studio for us artists and the house itself made a great subject. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms well equipped. The location couldn't be better, on the edge of Giverny but just off the path of the hoards of tourists. From here we visited and painted Etretat, Auver sur Oise and of course Monet's garden.I hope to use it again.
