The apartment "Charlotte 2, again with attention to detail" is my second vacation home. Since the equipment and the style of the first apartment "Charlotte, with attention to detail" with my guests is always very well received, I would like to offer with this one more quality and very cozy apartment. It is located in a residential street in the popular and central district Trier-Süd. The old building and all apartments have been completely renovated.
The apartment (wood floors, fireplace, bathroom with bath,) is tastefully furnished with attention to detail. The apartment offers 2 bedrooms and plenty of space for up to 5 people on about 93 sqm. The metro (train station Trier-south) is within a few minutes walk away (800 m) and the bus stop is about 200 meters from the front door.
Both the Imperial Baths, the cathedral, the Basilica or Porta Nigra, Roman Museum, the National Museum and the theaters, cinemas, restaurants, or the Trier municipal swimming pool can be reached by bus in a few minutes (even on foot are z. B. the Imperial Baths good accessibility approximately 1.5 km). Free parking around the house (no parking management, as so often in Trier City).

Completely refurbished central old apartment in popular district of Trier-Süd. The two bedrooms have a double bed (180X200), respectively. An additional bed is a trundle bed for the 5th Person. The bathroom has a bath, towel radiators and exterior windows. The kitchen is fully equipped and opens to the dining room (dining table for 5 people) and to the hall. In the living room a spacious sofa set waits (2 three seater), make sure to give you after a day sight-seeing tour some relaxation.

Summary: This property was beautiful and clean. It's well-furnished and we had a very nice stay there. The cons are that it's right next to a fairly busy train track. Although, the windows shades do muffle the noise some. It does have a balcony, but the balcony is not attached to the apartment. One difficulty we had was during check in. It's was somewhat difficult to figure out what entrance to use. Then after some time, we discovered the lockbox. Once we got into the first security door, we had no way of knowing which apartment was the correct one out of the 6 or so to choose from. I messaged the host and she responded right away, but I would've preferred clearer instructions to begin with.

Summary: Apartment is spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. A bit of a walk into town but close enough for a taxi if need be. Very comfortable, we would certainly stay here again.
