Summary: Very clean and tidy, with all the amenities as mentioned. Parking is easy even with a big van. Kitchen is small with limited work surface but for its size well equipped. We ate out in Trier in the evening so this was not a problem for us (eating out was very good quality and reasonable pricing). The kitchen was more than sufficient for breakfast and a sandwich at lunch time. The local bus service is very convenient but I would recommend checking the times at the bus stop as sheet in the apartment was not up to date. The bedroom was a good size and the bed settee for our son was comfortable.

Summary: There was a bus route into town and local shops with supermarkets and bakery close by, the area was very pleasant but out of town. The apartment was large, but both the kitchen and bathroom were too small.There was a spacious bedroom and lounge, unfortunately due to the lack of work surface in the kitchen we ended up using the bedroom to prepare food. Both bicycles provided needed servicing and the lights did not work, luckily we took our own. Trier was excellent to cycle around and a good base to explore the Moselle Valley and visit Luxembourg. Hosts communication could have been improved, possibly due to language difference.
