Summary: This is a great older home, close to the local river and close to amenities. It had a great hometown feel. The hostess was very sweet and added nice touches to make us feel welcome. My dad and I cooked a lot for my granddaughter and it was wonderful that the hostess had some of the basic staples and utensils that I didn't even think about when planning my trip. There were more stairs than I had thought about, but I should have realized with the house being in the mountain areas as it is. I would recommend this house to anyone without mobility issues.

Summary: The best thing about this house was the central location and the responsiveness of the host. The sheets on the bed were the most comfortable I have ever slept on and would love the brand information on them. It would have been nice to know there was not a dining table before booking the house. We wanted an a house for the extra room but I did not have a place to eat meals with my family or work from since the little table in the kitchen did not have any outlets near it for a laptop. Additionally, it should probably be mentioned that all of the bedrooms were upstairs and the stairs only had a railing for half the bottom portion of the steps(which is loose). We were notified upon arrival that the downstairs bathroom wasnt working and the water would have to be manually turned on and off if we wanted to use it (not the hosts fault) but that left 4 people to use the upstairs bathroom(including a potty training toddler). The host was kind enough to leave k-pods and laundry detergent and pepperoni rolls but the keurig stopped working. Also someone should probably pick up all the debris and trash in the front, under the back porch, throw out the creepy rocking chair with no seat in it, and close the hole in the ceiling on the second floor with the wires coming out of it. Honestly we almost left as soon as we got there because the house gave me a super haunted vibe but thats probably more my problem than anything!
