Millefleurs is a characterful and tastefully decorated apartment in a wonderful location – next to the River Rance in the heart of the old port of Dinan. Forming part of an imposing old stone house the apartment has been recently upgraded, fitted out and decorated but has retained its character with beams, a granite fireplace and lime jointed stone walls.
With a garden giving direct access to the river and towpath, the apartment is perfectly placed to enjoy medieval Dinan. A short walk across the old stone bridge brings you to a number of good riverside restaurants, bistros, cafes and a good baker.
We have a keybox system so guests can pick up the keys on arrival and check in without meeting anyone , however we live locally and are available if you need us during your stay.
The historic centre of Dinan is a short ( about 10 minutes) walk up the steep cobbled Jerzual hill. Or you can use the free bus service ( the Dinamo) provided by the Commune . Here you can find a beautifully preserved medieval town with timber framed houses, a castle and impressive town walls. There are lots of good restaurants, cafés and shops to browse, as well as the popular Thursday morning market.
A short drive from the apartment brings you to the family beaches of the North coast, where there are a series of sandy beaches, rocky headlands and seaside towns and villages.
The rental prices include tourist tax, electricity , bed linen and towels.
We check that the property is clean and ready for you before your arrival , and you can either clean before leaving or our end of stay clean option is 50€
Free on street parking available next to the apartment , or we have a limited number of reserved parking spaces available for a small charge - 20€ per week.

Summary: This well maintained & very well-equipped apartment beside the River Rance was a handy base from which to explore Dinan Port, Dinan & villages along the river. Excellent restaurants were located nearby. Highly recommended!

Summary: Beautiful apartment tastefully done up and restored in French farmhouse fashion - but all mod cons in place. Best feature is the lovely garden to sit in and the closeness to the centre of port Dinan. We go to Dinan regularly and this is the best place we have stayed.

Summary: Accommodations were great, and host was flexible and very responsive to any inquiries. Dinan/Lanvallay were interesting in and of themselves, and were also very well situated to explore other towns and the northern coast. It was a most enjoyable stay.

Summary: We walked in. My husband said "this is wonderful!" he then said "no, this is better than wonderful!". That says it all. Beautiful apartment in a gorgeous setting right on the river. Everything was clean and as expected. Good dishes/utensils. I liked it much better than staying in downtown Dinan. Parking was a bonus. Jeremy was always very responsive and helpful. I can't say enough good things about him and his lovely apartment. Thank you so much, Jeremy for all your help and for offering this lovely apartment.

Summary: A lovely property in an ideal location. Helpful owners. Do have the walk along the river to Lehon and of course up the steep cobbled street to the wonderful Dinan.

Summary: As good as it looks, and I particularly liked the shower, which was far better than is often the case, and the ability to heat the property adequately in the evenings when it gets colder, again something which is often not the case. Recommended.

Summary: Everything was perfect - the breathtaking location, the fact we could book easy car parking down the road, the large comfortable apartment with a good bed. Just a small tiny point -we only used the double room, but the single room is an internal one with no windows, so I guess if four came in hot weather it might be a bit stuffy. Thanks to Jeremy and Julia.

Summary: The apartment is wonderful and has a great view of Dinan and the port. Across the road is a great bakery and the private garden is a great setting for enjoying their wares. There are also a handful of charming restaurants nearby. It's a short walk into the main downtown area but far enough away that you aren't staying in the thick of the tourist hustle and bustle-- all we heard were bird songs during our stay and access to the apartment with a car is relatively simple. Just down the road you can walk to rent bicycles or boats. It all makes for a perfect home base for exploring Dinan and nearby sites.
