Positive: Few days before the check in the owner reached out by WhatsApp, explained everything and answered all the questions I had, the communication at this point was great. The apartment was ready when we arrived. The area is very quite and beautiful, but very remote from the lake, for us it wasn't a problem, but it's important to take it into account. The apartment was equipped with all the essentials in the kitchen. Though it said in the description that there was a microwave and there was none. The apartment was pretty descent cleaned.
Negative: When we checked in to the apartment in late October the first night there was no hot water. The weather was already pretty chilly and the kids had to shower in cold water and then sit in their coats shivering, because we didn't know how to switch the air conditioning on. There was this little button that we just didn't see at the upper part of the switch and no one guided us. The owner announced that he went on vacation and the representative that he left to deal with us was less responsive than he was and stopped responding to messages at some point and wasn't that helpful at that evening. The day after came a technician and apparently there was nothing we could do about the hot water, since he had to switch something on outside the apartment. He also showed us how to turn the air conditioning on so could the warm up apartment. Even after he fixed the hot water during the shower every few minutes the water become cold for some time and then hot again and so on. The owner apologized for the issue with the water and the missing microwave and told us that he won't take the sum of taxes from us. Still, I think that hot water is pretty basic need and he should have taken care of it ahead of time. In addition, the fridge and the oven were not so clean. One last detail: the bedroom upstairs is creepy and my wife had trouble to sleep there. Maybe it would be better to put a wall in order to close the dark corner of the attic to make it more homey. The ceiling is very low and I had bumped my head few times even I am not so tall, you should be aware of that.
