Summary: It's hard to put it into words how special this home is. From the moment we drove up and had the feeling of being high up overlooking beautiful Skaneateles Lake it was wonderful. The location is fantastic. We were able to see all the beauty of the lake as it changes from steel grey on a rainy afternoon, to blue/green to deep blue. The fall foliage was gorgeous around the property. We appreciate the special touches of the bottle of chardonnay from Anyela's and Betsy's handwritten note welcoming us for our anniversary. The house is absolutely beautifully decorated and also so comfortable. Windows, windows, windows -- every one had a perfect view. We cooked alot and the kitchen was wonderful with the perk of being able to watch the Lake while prepping a meal. We did not want to leave. This was my favorite location so far in the Finger Lakes. I highly recommend this home. You will not be disappointed! Thank you for opening your home to us.

Summary: Absolutely beautiful property complete with everything you could possibly need. We were a group of six friends and we stayed for three nights. This is the second year in a row we stayed here because we enjoyed it so much. Very nice location, very close to the village, overlooking the lake. The owner is a pleasure to deal with. Extremely clean home. Everything was perfect.

Summary: Our youngest daughter was married on Saturday sept.28 at the skaneates lodge. Your place was the perfect place for our family to stay.would recommend this house to anyone who would like some nice quiet family time.

Summary: This house is stunning and has everything you would need for a vacation away. My friends and I enjoyed the ample sleeping space and bathrooms to allow us to spread out and all get ready with no issues. The views are stunning and the dock and deck were perfect retreats to have our morning coffee. We hope to be back next year! Thanks for everything.

Summary: The house is well designed and has good sound installation. The kitchen is great for cooking and well stocked. And it’s got great outdoor spaces up by the house. The one challenge is the steps are very steep and there isn’t a hang out area by the water. I would check with the owners if you want the dock up because it wasn’t ready when we were there.

Summary: The perfect spot to connect with family. We played baseball in the front yard, walked down the steps to the lake to watch amazing sunsets, barbecued on the back deck and congregated around the fireplace in the evenings while we played games. We all enjoyed the home immensely!

Summary: The cottage was lovely - clean and well equipped. My sisters & I are regular travelers and this property exceeded all of our expectations. Best part is that the owners use the house too, so it has the personal touches that made it more comfortable than most vacation rentals. We loved sitting on the porch overlooking the lake, listening to the Loons calling.
