Summary: If you like to relax with fammily or friends, this is a great place to be. Loved the garden, loved the pool, loved everything. Would defenatily rent again.

Summary: The layout is a bit quirky but overall we really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the pool and it is a quick walk to the downtown market for bread, fresh fruit and other provisions. It is conveniently located near Amboise which has plenty of restaurants and wonderful Chateau. We got stuck in quite a bit of traffic leaving Paris and arrived significantly later than expected and Muriel patiently waited for us to arrive which was much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Muriel is really friendly. The house is clean and well furnished. Check the configuration of bathrooms and bedrooms before you book to be sure it fits your needs.

Summary: The cottage is charming, especially that is is historical - partially built into the cliff (troglodyte). The kitchen is well supplied for home cooking including a crepe maker we enjoyed, and the living room has many games. The pool is lovely. The cottage seems very quiet and as a group you are in your own little world. Within the cottage there are privacy issues though. 2 bedrooms come and go through the garden room, and those 3 rooms are accessed through a bathroom. These 2 upper rooms also were very hot (July). On the other side the other 2 bedrooms are linked and again the people in one room go through the other. So best if only 2 families, not 3 like we had.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this property and would absolutely recommend it. Pros: - Very friendly, welcoming and responsive owners. - Excellent location: quiet, yet close to a small village and supermarket. 10 min drive to Amboise castle. - Great outside space, including large swimming pool - Very cozy and a lot of charm - in a troglodyte! - Extremely well equipped kitchen Cons: - The only reason why I'm taking a star out is because from the two upstair bedrooms in the main house, the only access to the bathroom, the outdoor area and the rest of the house is through the main bedroom on the main floor. While that might be fine for close friends and families who know each other well, we had a mix of friends and family so this was a little awkward. Again, overall, we had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend it.

Summary: The photos do not do the property justice. It is well-situated in Noizay, overlooking the village, with simple and well-maintained gardens, roses climbing up the wall and a lovely pool with great seating area for eating out. The interior is well-furnished in simple, rustic style and the cave bedrooms great fun for kids and adults alike. Easy parking. Nothing negative at all. We look forward to returning!

Summary: Lovely cottage to stay at full of character. Pool with an alarm was very good for our toddler. Lovely area to walk about in the grape vines. Good day out kayaking on the Loire. If you get a chance to go and see Freddie next door he does an excellent wine tasting and tour, very reasonable prices on his wine which is outstanding especially the sparking rose. I hope we can come back some day with the whole family. Thank you Muriel.

Summary: We have just returned home after spending a week in Noizay at Gite Coeur de Loire. We were on a family holiday seven adults and four children and we have the most wonderful time. The pool and gardens, where we spent most of our time, had everything we needed. The situation is very quiet with access to local towns - the pretty Amboise being one of them, where we had a meal on our last night. If we visit the Loire region again in the future, we would certainly come back, and maybe spend a little longer in this charming house.
