On the hillside of the "Petit Coteau", in the wine village of Noizay, near Amboise, this authentic vineyard house of 150 m² is overlooked by the AOC vineyard of Vouvray. It enjoys the charms of the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This building decorated with tufa stones dominates this private property also with old cellars and troglodytes typical of the region.
Enjoying a relaxing environment, this cottage is close to the house where lived the famous composer Francis Poulenc. Its salon and French gardens are now open to the public in summer.
Located on hiking trails and bike tours, between Tours (20 km) and Amboise (8 km), it is the starting point for visits to the chateaux of the Loire and its gardens.
You can also visit the vineyards and meet the winemakers to visit their cellars.

Summary: My family and I had a wonderful time at this clean and comfortable house. There was everything we needed with many thoughtful touches. The house and property have a lot of history, and the hosts were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and the surrounding area has lots to see and do. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone, and will try to come back again to stay!

Summary: We had a lovely week here in the Loire, making the most of a great location about 15 minutes from Amboise. The property is traditional with lovely views from the garden. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful - providing insight into the history of the area and ideas for shops, things to do, restaurants, etc. We cannot thank them enough. A very relaxing stay

Summary: This is a unique property, with a kind and accommodation host who was keen to share the history and personal connection with the area. Our hosts gave us great guidance on where to visit! The accommodation close to the town and amenities but offered tranquility away from the tourists. Surrounded by vineyards and amazing night sky views….. complete with owl sounds!

Summary: This is a lovely old vineyard house, immaculately presented in retro decor, with a beautiful garden overlooking the loire valley and local vineyard. It is very private, even though the hosts are in the next door house. A fantastic base to explore Amboise (10 mins drive with easy parking there) and the surrounding Loire region - chateaux and the vineyards. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended

Summary: This charming country house was perfect for our family of five. Ideally located amidst grape groves in the quiet and charming countryside, yet only a short drive to Amboise and other historic attractions in the Loire Valley, the house offers everything a family could want, from wonderful and welcoming hosts native to the region, to a fully stocked kitchen with absolutely everything one could need, to comfortable and well appointed rooms, to a charming rose garden in the front yard, where you can barbecue or star gaze. I would rate this 5 out of 5 stars, or three if we are using the Michelin system! Merci infiniment Madame et Monsieur Boulay pour votre accueil chalereux et votre gentillesse. Que Dieu vous benisse.

Summary: The owners of this property were very lovely people. They were so nice to come pick us up at the train station. They were extremely helpful at recommending places to see and restaurants. The home was very comfortable and the gardens were beautiful. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone visiting the Loire Valley.

Summary: The owners are a very friendly couple, as close or far as needed. They have done everything to make our stay comfortable, the house is very well equipped. If you think of something, it's there. This light and peaceful house is perfectly clean. It's decorated and maintained with respect to the history of the house. Our young daughter uses a small wheelchair, which was not a problem in this house, because there is a bathroom and bedroom downstairs. View from the house or terrace is very nice, evenings are nice and quiet. In the early morning or late afternoon you will notice animals passing by in the green valley in front of the house. A very peaceful and yet central spot to explore the area. Amboise is nearby, as well as many more places worth a visit. This house is definitely worth all stars.
