Summary: Had a great 6 night stay. Super house with all that we needed in a great location - pubs and restaurants close by which we frequented. Location is great for cycling and walking with easy access to Knokke and Bruges. Steven was an excellent host who looked after really well.

Summary: If you want a relaxing home from home property in a rural village then this is one to put on your list. From the moment we arrived to leaving we where completely relaxed & at home. Steven was a great host met us at the property & showed us around. Great amenities & off street garage parking. Few nice local bars & a very good one with its own restaurant which we would highly recommend a visit. Would stay again.

Summary: A top accommodation! We immediately felt at home in this cozy, perfectly equipped house on 3 levels, in a pleasantly quiet location. Everything you need is available and the bed is also very comfortable. Steven, our friendly host, explained everything essential to us: Heating, TV, restaurants nearby. The restaurant, about 100m from the house, is recommended. The host suggested a boat trip to Bruges, we have implemented the next day immediately. and it was fun. The house has a perfect location for numerous excursions. We were happy every time to come back to such a beautiful vacation home. We will be very happy to come back.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our (5) night stay. It was an extended Rest & Relaxation getaway for bicycling/walking along the canal and just enjoying some much needed unplugged, quiet down time. GREAT location to surrounding tourist sites. (2) restaurants and a cafe within a few minutes walking from the rental for a mid afternoon / early evening drink or bite to eat. Updated, well equipped interior decor, extremely comfortable and quiet. Upstairs ensuite bathroom (no door) for privacy. During the day, it wasn’t an issue since we were on the main floor of living. But trips to the bathroom at nighttime was 2 floors down, for some privacy. NOTE: Steven’s next door neighbor was doing renovations 3 of the 5 days we were there (loud drilling and hammering into the walls, most of the day) the times we were in the Gite. Absolutely no fault of Steven’s, but definitely worth asking about if you are specifically seeking a quiet, R&R getaway. Steven was an absolute pleasure to correspond with. Always super quick to reply. Very friendly and easy going. The Gite rental was a 9/10!! We can definitely see ourselves returning for another extended (7-10 days) stay but would desire more privacy for the upstairs ensuite bathroom. Thank You, Steven ...we very much appreciated your warm welcome and allowing Ms. M😻CHI to accompany us ...all in all, it was a "Great, Enjoyable Trip". Warmest Regards, Carrie, Ronald et Ms. M😻CHI

Summary: Had a wonderful stay in Damme..The house is located on a quiet street with a garage in front of a canal. Steven showed us around and explained to us what we needed to know. The house is very clean and well equipped for cooking. We rented bicycles and went to Brugges...There is many nice paths for biking along the canals..We had a great time....Will recommend this location to my friends. ....Thank You Steven ....Jean et Ginette Ottawa Ontario Canada

Summary: Steven describes this as a ‘charming house’ - and that is exactly what it is. Located in a lovely quiet spot overlooking the Damse Vaart canal and its ducks, in amongst some great small towns and villages to visit such as Damme, Sluis, Knokke and of course the city of Bruges. The house is really warm, cosy, clean, comfortable, well maintained and well equipped for a short stay. Thanks, Steven, for the opportunity to share your charming house over Christmas this year. We loved it!!
