Beautiful villa "La Quercia" Mq. 70, is composed of a living room of 35 square meters. with fitted kitchen, bathroom with shower, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a covered terrace of over 30 sqm area with sofas and barbecue, parking .Possibility make use of the outdoor pool.

Borgomaro, a small village of about 300 souls, quiet, just minutes from the city, but the center where you can find: pharmacy, post office, edible, butchers, bars, restaurants, pizzeria, bakery, hardware and some of the most renowned oil mills of the province .
The valley that is home to this village, 'Valley Empire' is covered by old olive groves of the variety 'Taggiasca' which produces a mild oil but of character, fragrant but light, in a word 'unique'.
On the farm you can also taste and buy olive oil we produce, olives in brine and other local products. If you're ever in the months from November to February you can also watch the olive harvest: the method is always that of our ancestors.
Directions: We are located in one of the most beautiful areas of Liguria, a few kilometers from the sea and mountains. In about 15 minutes you reach Imperia or Diano Marina, Sanremo and Alassio less than an hour, at the same time you can reach the trails and climbs the highest and most beautiful peaks of the Ligurian Alps, Mongioie, Marguareis, etc .. true treasure of nature.

Summary: It was a pleasure to stay in the apartment. The hosts are very kind and helpfull and despite lag of english skills it was easy to communicate through google translate and hand signs :) Apartment is spacious, with good facilities and equipment. The pool is just around the corner and we had no problems sharing it with the other apartment. At the pool there are sunbeds, parasol, chairs and also toilet and an outside bath.

Summary: The appartement works really well with big enough rooms and a very nice and large covered terrace with good views. The pool is good too. And the host Gino and his family are very loving people :-)

Summary: What was good? The village is relaxed, genuine old Italy with steps and alleys and a church (whose carillon and bells might be considered a little too frequent or intrusive by some). The house has two bedrooms a twin and a double plus sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen/diner area. One bathroom. All is clean with a BBQ (no tools though) and shaded outdoor seating for al fresco dining, and the owner gave us tomatoes and basil from his garden for the freshest caprese salad. There is a visiting gecko (Gordon), you can walk to two good restaurants and the local shop sells wine for 2€ a bottle. What's not so good ... The wiring is weird and standard EU plugs need special adaptors of which there weren't enough. The location is rural and you definitely need a car. The pool is lovely but shared with another apartment. The parking under the house can't be used unless you have secateurs to cut back the cotoneaster so you have to fight for space in the carpark which is often full from patrons of the pizza restaurant. First impression of a pile of wood pallets under a tarpaulin and weeds on the parking area is unfortunate. There was no written information from the owners about what to do/see in the area which is a shame. We were told about Bennet supermarket about 6 miles away towards Imperia (all week 8am - 8.30pm) but would have appreciated information about where to find the local shop or its opening hours/services available, or where to dispose of rubbish and how to sort recycling. There was a festival on the Tuesday which we'd have watched had we known it was happening. And there were a lot of mosquitos. Maybe it said this when we booked, but air conditioning wasn't included and would have been an extra 3€ per day. We had only 2 toilet rolls and one tea towel supplied for the week. But the price was good value and we enjoyed our stay using it as a base to visit Nice, Monaco, Imperia and Alassio.
