Summary: It was a fantastic stay at this beautiful house. You can see how much heart is put into the decoration, there was also plenty of kitchen equipment. We did not miss anything. The host was very comforting and gentle. We can totally recommend this place

Summary: Les Glycides is a lovely well kept gite in a small hamlet up a hill form the main urban area of Guebwiller. It’s a restful getaway however it does not feel remote. The neighbourhood is charming albeit quiet. The swimming pool is a great plus. The gite is on several levels as the house is built down the slope of a hill. There are lovely views of woodland from the main south facing terrace where meals can be eaten. Cooking facilities are very good with a well equipped kitchen. Dominique and Robert had left us a lovely bottle of cremant and a traditional cake which was a nice treat on our arrival Communication with them was excellent both when booking and on the day of arrival and departure. The southern Voges is a great area for walks and the gite is well placed to take advantage of the many signposted hikes around the area.

Summary: We had an amazing stay in this house and the hosts are great, very friendly people! We appreciated the special pastry and tasty bottle of Alsace sparkling wine (crémant) they left for us at arrival. The house is perfect for a stay with friends in the Vosges/Alsace region! The interior is cosy and qualitative and we had everything we needed. The exterior with 2 terraces, a bbq and a nice pool with view on the surrounding forest is where we spent most our time thanks to the great weather we had. We can only recommend this house and would love to stay there again when we return to the region.
