Summary: Very cozy, clean well organized abode. All mechanicals worked well. Very quiet and secluded location well placed in trees and natural landscaping. Having WIFI was a bonus, and it worked very well.

Summary: This cottage was perfect for our atari. Beautiful back yard with mature trees, spacious deck. The decode with wainscoting was darling. The three bathrooms and bedrooms gave a plenty of space. Clean and lovely

Summary: The cottage is cute and cozy. Super comfortable for just the two of us. Great location for many activities, but no nearby beach access, which didn’t bother us. We didn’t have to contact the owner during our stay, as his emailed instructions were clear, but previous contacts were responded to remarkably quickly by the host.

Summary: This is the perfect getaway spot for peaceful relax and rejuvenation. Completely charming little cottage tucked-away in the trees oozes character and provides a hideaway or a base for exploring the local area. Has everything that one needs to enjoy quiet time, do some cooking, chill by the fire or relax in big comfy chairs reading a book. We thoroughly enjoyed making a big welcoming fire and sipping on a glass of wine while surrounded by peaceful Michigan woods - complete with wild deer wandering past! The cottage can sleep up to 6 people if necessary but we’ve enjoyed it twice with just the two of us - and it’s perfect. Love this spot, hope to come back sometime.

Summary: It was a cozy little house, in a great location. Close to a main highway, but off the road enough where there wasn't much traffic. Charming house with basically all that you need for a nice stay. Short drives to restaurants and other local places. Really wonderful time!

Summary: A VERY WELL APPOINTED AND CLEAN COTTAGE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE, VIA A LOVLEY LITTLE ROAD THRU THE WOODS, TO LAKE MICHIGAN. WE PLAN TO STAY HERE AGAIN. AS THIS APPEARS TO BE THE THE HOST FAMILIES PRIVATE COTTAGE IT WAS ESPECIALLY WELL STOCKED WITH KITCHEN WARE AND DINNER SERVICE SO THAT WAS NICE TO HAVE. NEXT TIME I WILL NOT DRAG SO MUCH OF MY OWN COOKING STUFF. I ALSO LIKED THAT THERE WERE EXTRA TOWELS JUST IN CASE.

Summary: Perfect birthday getaway. This house location was perfect. It was close to almost everything, including the beach and only 15 minute drive to New Buffalo. The house was really clean and a great home away from home. Glad I chose to stay here and I’ll definitely rent again in the future!
