Summary: This home was perfect to celebrate our anniversary at. There was plenty of room and all of the amenities worked perfect. There were plenty of kitchen appliances and there was never an instance where we though "man, we could sure use this". Our smallest is 6 but it was nice to see that there was a crib, a pack n play, and a high chair available as well as plenty of children's cups and plates, which was a nice touch. The WiFi worked and the kids loved being able to play in the sand and swim in the water.

Summary: On the positive side, this house was in a great location and had fabulous views. Multiple sleeping spaces were convenient. Bedrooms were spacious. There is a small sandy area where the kids played and entered the lake, however no stairs or ladders made lake access challenging. The dock was long enough for our boat, however was significantly tilted/sinking on one side making it precarious to walk on. The house was large and the kitchen was well equipped. Parking was good for our three vehicles. The problems we experienced were previously identified by past guests. The problems were not solved by the management company. Several window screens were missing and many/most were broken (I specifically called Vacasa and checked on this issue after reading the review. I was assured the problem was remedied). As a result, the windows couldn’t be used or bugs/flys were constantly entering the home. There was an extremely strong sulfur odor from the water. It was very concerning (also identified in prior review). Both ovens in the kitchen were so dirty, the kitchen was filled with smoke when they were turned on. I had to clean the lesser of the two to use without smoke. At 4:30 in the morning (for 10seconds) all the smoke alarms “went off”. The entire household was woken. Vacasa was contacted in the morning. They stated “I don’t know what we can do about it”. When we booked the house it was advertised as having air conditioning. Another error by the management.

Summary: We loved the house and location so much. We were in McCall for a family wedding at Shore Lodge and the location couldn’t have been better. The house has everything you need and the view can’t be beat! We had a fabulous time!

Summary: This house is in a fantastic location on the lake, but still close to town. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you need. There were only two negatives: there are two sleeper sofas in the primary suite, but it would be nice if at least one was in the downstairs game room so that space could be an additional sleeping room. And the hot water smells STRONGLY of sulfur, making showers, laundry, and dishes quite unpleasant.

Summary: The whole place is great but especially the kitchen. Everything we needed was there and there was plenty of utensils and accessories. We were able to prepare some great meals and enjoyed the large dining table for family gatherings.

Summary: Great size home, clean enough but funny smells coming from the cabinets and a rotten egg smell every time you turn on a faucet or shower. Also, no screens in the upstairs windows, that makes it difficult to get air circulation going up there. Also, garbage left from the last renters was piled up outside the cans and strewn about buy skunks and crows.

Summary: This place is amazing. so much room for sleeping guest but also close and comfy for entertaining. Meals with family were amazing and sharing memories of my father who passed. The lake was like glass everyday and we loved hiking and biking all the trails nearby. Thanks for a blessed week to remember.
