The tall ceilings make this cozy getaway, feel large and airy. The living space features a sofa, a flatscreen television in a large armoire, and vibrant artwork. Adjacent, you'll find the dining space perfect for a home cooked meal. The shelves are stacked with books galore! Grab a read, and head out to the patio which is covered by large trees and ivy - A serene reading scene.
The kitchen is situated toward the back of the home, and offers all of the modern amenities one could ask for. The cabinets are stocked with all of the cookware essentials to make your favorite meals. Just down the way, you'll find a local grocery store to grab your spices and more! Just a few steps away, guests can find the unique and spacious bathroom that features a shower and tub/combination. Heading upstairs to the loft, the king size bed awaits and is open to the rest of the home below.

Summary: We’ve been visiting Savannah for the past 13 years and always look forward to our stays. Unfortunately, this particular property fell short of our expectations.On the positive side, the location was excellent—perfect for walking and with convenient access to free on-street parking. The home was also very spacious, and we truly appreciated the owner's flexibility in accommodating our dog.However, we did encounter several issues that affected our experience. Most notably, we had a persistent problem with cockroaches (palmetto bugs). Although property management said they would send someone to address it, no one ever came, leaving us to deal with the issue throughout our stay.Outdoor space is important to us, as we enjoy relaxing outside at the start and end of the day. Unfortunately, this area was so neglected that we didn’t feel comfortable using it. The loft bedroom also presented safety concerns—the dark brown steps, despite lighting, made it difficult to see clearly, and both of us missed the last step at some point.Additionally, the AC did not adequately cool the loft, the ceiling fan was nonfunctional, and we were grateful a box fan was provided. Some of the kitchen items were quite worn and could be easily and inexpensively replaced to enhance the overall experience.We’re sharing this feedback in the spirit of improvement. We love Savannah and want every visitor to enjoy their stay here. Small details truly do make a big difference.

Very small bathroom, but doable. We extensively searched for all the light switches and never managed to cut the porch light. No problem with parking! The only negative was the condition of the backyard. One of the reasons we chose this place was the private backyard, but it was virtually unusable. Although the hurricane had come thru 2 weeks prior, it was obvious nobody came to check on the property before our arrival. The yard had debris, to include full branches, and the table was filthy. Minus that issue, this was a great place to stay.

It was mostly clean minus the toilet when we arrived was not clean (hair,urine stains). Rest of the house was nice. We appreciated the little outside back patio and though we didn’t use it the chimenea was nice. No toilet paper holder in the bathroom was an inconvenience. The steps up to the loft and railings definitely need to be updated. That is a major accident waiting to happen. The railing is loose on the side closest to the bed and the one near the bed itself should be taller, someone could easily trip and fall down to the main level. Overall I’d give this a 3.8 out of 5

Nice, clean, and in great historic setting. Many squares (parks) within walking distance. We visited most all, even with daily rain for the majority of our stay. Still beautiful places to venture. We even enjoyed Tybee beach a couple of days, as well as took in the entire Riverwalk. Great experience.
