Negative: I wish the sheets were of higher quality, the toilet was higher, the kitchen chairs had cushions or more comfortable and there were more clean towels left for us.

Positive: Location excellent and apartment very clean and well equipped. Good base for sightseeing in beautiful Savannah and safe quiet residential area.
Negative: Difficulty locating property - different addresses given (East Taylor St and East Jones Lane???) Key lock box old and tricky to open. Cottage furnishings a little tired - less attractive than in the pictures.

Positive: The beds were very comfortable but the pillows were a little flat on the main floor bed The unit was very clean and well supplied except salt and pepper would have been nice. Where to use the Entry codes was a bit confusing. We were sent 3 different codes but only needed 2 to enter. The lock knob on the front door seemed loose and turned many times before catching and unlocking the door. The upstairs toilet ran for a short period of time every half hour or so. Also, the shower handle was loose. There was a great notebook left by the owners with general house information and a basket with lots of pamphlets for restaurants and activities. My messages and questions were promptly answered. The unit was located in a lovely residential area but was a little far for walking to the river or main shopping area. I little more outside seating would have been nice. The horse and carriage ride was a great way to get an overview of the city’s history.
Summary: Lovely, clean house and a great value for the money.

Negative: Parking! We were in an Avalanche and one night, I had to park in the street because there were 2 vehicles in the parking space beside us and the car that parked behind us did not pull in far enough so we could not get in our space. Resulted in a $40 parking ticket. Fine for a small/midsize vehicle but not for a larger truck/SUV!
Summary: We enjoyed the house and were able to walk to most of the sites in Savannah. Definitely on my bucket list to visit this

Positive: While the place itself was nice, a few things surprised us, not in a good way. When we rent other short-term rentals, we are pleased to be greeted by our hosts/owners. Not so with this unit. No local contact information. We arrived late and discovered that there was a coffee machine, but no coffee. We had to stock the refrigerator ourselves, no problem. But there was no sugar, salt, or pepper. Those are pretty essential items for someone staying for a few days. I could expect it for a long-term rental, but not for this property. Upstairs we discovered that one of the windows had a problem. It would not stay closed. The temperature went into the 30s overnight. I called the 800 number and was challenged by the agent, implying that I had broken the window, “Is there broken glass on the floor?” After several minutes of explanation, he dropped the line, ‘You must have broken it” line of discussion. See the attached pictures. He said he would send someone over “to inspect the window.” Three days later, there was no indication that anyone had entered the property, nor had there been an “inspection.” I am not a window expert, but it appeared that the window sash had been replaced at some point before our arrival with a sash that had no latches and was probably designed for another frame. It simply did not fit correctly. One of the pictures focuses on the instructions we read on the second day of the unit. It implies that unless we document the current condition when we enter, we are responsible for it on the way out—an implied threat. Do you not inspect your properties prior to each new guest? How does your lack of due diligence translate to our responsibility? My summary: The place was nice, but the management was lousy, impersonal, and cheap.

Positive: The cottage was excellent. It was clean, close enough to walk to historic Savannah. The couch is different than pictured. It was nice and comfortable. The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed for our stay. The only thing lacking was the main bedroom upstairs bed. It has a huge hole in the center. I have seen other comments on the bed as well. If it wasn't for the bed, the cottage would have been perfect.

Negative: I don't remember the description including information that the 2nd bedroom and bath were up a set of stairs.

Positive: The property was in a good location, clean and comfortable, beds especially. It was nice with two couples to have two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc.. You can walk to the sights from this property. There was good communication between the property and the renter.
Negative: The furniture was a little worn and could use a little updating. (especially in sitting room area) We did not bring a pet but nice the owners allow them. There was a coffee machine in the unit however, It would’ve been nice to have some coffee provided or some kind of Keurig with K cups for the renters. The AC/heating unit was outside the home close to the lower bedroom and was noisy. The fan in the lower bedroom needs a cord or something to adjust its speed. The check-in wasn’t until 4 PM and it would’ve been nice to be able to park in the driveway before check-in as otherwise, you have metered parking or had to pay in a parking garage when sightseeing prior to check in.
