Summary: Immediately on booking this house, I received a text message from the owner herself. She gave me directions and check in details. She was friendly and professional. As we were traveling from the UK we arrived at the house after mid-night. She had arranged to leave lights on for us. Even at night it was easy to find the house. Once at the house, we found it to be exactly as described: a lovely old turn of the century house. It had the quirks of an old farmhouse, like genuine copper fixtures and antique furniture. Probably the most striking thing is the feeling that we were guests in someone's home, and that host is very generous. We have rented many houses in the US and UK and this was the most generously equipped one. There was a plentiful supply of linens, detergents, toiletries, foil, napkins, spices, condiments and so much more. Also we enjoyed the BEST quality toilet paper (Angel Soft?) not a cheap thin stuff. This rental was so worth the price. It was perfectly located 3 minutes drive from Dennys, and a number of restaurants and a great cinema. We were there to deliver our son to.college and it was one town away.We were entertained by rabbits, peacocks and deer near the house. We had a lovely stay at this old house and we will be staying there again when we return to see our boy at his college.

Summary: The house was adequately equipped. Check in was easy. Rooms are spacious. House is cozy relaxing and enjoyable. There is a big yard and a long driveway. Oineda is a really cute town with lots of nice people living and working there.

Summary: We came to the area for our son's masters' graduation from Syracuse. We didnt want to be right in town. Its a very pretty area with wonderful huge old trees. The house was just like the listing said and was clean and homey. I highly recommend it for a family gathering.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this charming country home. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed for our weekend stay. Denise the owner reached out several times during our stay to see if we needed anything and to answer any questions that we had. She was very welcoming and helpful. We also loved that the house was less than a 20 min ride to the Hamilton campus and it was a beautiful ride along a country road, so we didn’t need to get on the highway. Thank you Denise for opening your charming home to us.

Summary: We came to NY for my husband's brother's wedding. My husband & his family are originally from NY so we were familiar with most areas. This house is very beautiful. It may be older and not everyone's type of house but it was perfect for just letting our 2 kids (8 months & 2 1/2 years old) roam around & a nice place to sleep. We enjoyed our stay! Denise was very kind & easy to deal with. She checks in with you and the communication was great! We definitely would stay here again!
