Charming and Cozy Pet Friendly one-story house with large fenced back yard. Easy two block walk to the beach makes this home a great option for couples bringing their pets, but don't want to be right on the main roadway of Palm Blvd.
This home provides everything you’ll need for a quick get-away. Features include a full kitchen, beautiful laminate floors throughout, and a stacked washer/dryer. Cozy up in the living room or bedroom and enjoy the cable TV and DVD players provided. Soak up the island sun on the open patio with table and chairs. Door opens from hall directly into back yard for easy access for you or your dog.

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this is a very small house with very little storage. the counters and sinks were clean enough but the bedding was very old and worn. the wifi was spotty at best. also the cleaning person showed up early which made me rush and leave a few things behind

Reviewer Comments: The walk to the beach was easy and the weather fabulous for November! The house was cute and comfortable but the kitchen floor is all tore up and with holes -- a rug over it --but still a tripping hazard. Internet went out often--Island realty came to get it fixed but there continued to be issues. Could have been cleaner as well-no dishwasher.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family stayed at this house last year. We loved the location and the accommodation for our pets, that we were excited to stay again. This house is perfect for small families and a great location from the beach. Very quiet area with very pleasant neighbors. A very different experience than last time with mostly things out of anyone's control. Mosquitos were very bad. Our family and pets were ate up and we used bug spray. Due to the storms, the property had lots of down limbs and our car was covered with debris and acorns. Noone came to clean up the exterior and to check after the storms. The wifi didn't work the whole time and the cable was out for 4 days. DVD player also didn't work. We did get notification of an outage in the area. The floors in the kitchen are rotted and falling in. They were covered up with lots of rugs. What was upsetting is that the floors were in the same condition last year. One would think that this would be a hazard and the owner would replace. Especially with the money this house brings in every month. Hopefully these small adjustments can be fixed to make this property perfect!

There needs to be a disclaimer since the kitchen floor is destroyed, it wouldn't be safe for older people or any pregnant women. This needs to be taken care of immediately.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in an excellent location, only 1 block from the beach. The fenced-in backyard is great too for those traveling with pets! The house however is a bit dirty (especially the rugs/floors) and there was an odd smell during our entire stay. It was a good value and we had a nice stay, but it would have been better without the dirtiness and smell.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our main priority was to have a rental experience where we could enjoy the area with our dog. The property location was perfect for that requirement as it was a few blocks from the beach and a friendly dog park. The problem with the property is the fencing in the backyard was missing slates and provided areas for the dog to escape. We knew the rental was small, but the interior was old and needs much maintenance. The kitchen floorig detached and spongy. The throw rugs were dirty. We were there during a cold snap and the air conditioner/heater was programmed for sleep mode and was freezing inside until 6:00 am when it was programed to turn on. The kitchen did not have a dishwasher, the cabinet doors are falling off their hinges. The back door lock needs to be upgraded. The property was clean, just in desperate need of upgrading.

Reviewer Comments: This property has become more tired since our previous stay. The floor tiles are coming apart so that debris collects between them. There are larger gaps in the kitchen floor that can be felt through the carpet piece placed in the kitchen area (kinda gross). In order for the air conditioner to work properly, the dehumidifier must be run 24/7 and the water emptied every day. It is lined with mold and mildew, so that everything (including your clothes) has a faint musty odor. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I came home, opened my suitcase, and was hit with the smell. The clothes that I washed in the washer/dryer smelled even worse bc the rubber gasket in the washing machine door needs to be cleaned. I’m pretty sure this will have been our last stay at this house. It’s really only worth about $100/night, even at the beach.
